Introduction

KLEVV is a manufacturer of DRAM memory modules and flash memory products in the consumer market under the guidance of parent company Essencore Limited. Essencore is based out of Hong Kong and founded in 2014, focusing on wholesale distribution of computer related products.

KLEVV has a number of established and successful products, of which its system memory lineup is the largest. The company prides itself for rigorous testing procedures to ensure the highest quality and long term reliability of its products. KLEVV has multiple product lines to fit different markets with plenty of DDR4 options available. These SKUs include the CRAS XR, CRAS II, and Bolt series. With the launch of DDR5 in late 2021, KLEVV launched the standard "naked" U-DIMM. Fast forward to the end of 2022, and KLEVV introduces the CRAS XR series, which is what we have for review today.


KLEVV brings forward its CRAS XR product line reusing the name and overall design language for the DDR5 iteration. In this review, we will be taking a closer look at the KLEVV CRAS XR5 DD5-6200 CL40 2x 16 GB memory kit which is equipped with modest timings of 40-42-42-78 operating at 1.30 V for the 6200 MT/s X.M.P profile. Current KLEVV DDR5 configurations sold are limited to 32 GB (2x 16 GB) memory kits with frequencies ranging from 6000 MT/s to 6200 MT/s. This DDR5-6200 memory kit brings higher bandwidth compared to the baseline JEDEC 4800 MT/s.
