The Logitech G Pro Gaming Headset is the result of Logitech's cooperation with professional eSports teams. They aimed to make a simple, no-frills analogue gaming headset that would offer high wearing comfort, a nice microphone, and a sound signature that gives its users a competitive edge in multiplayer games. All three of those goals are successfully achieved, which makes the G Pro Gaming Headset one of the best choices in the sub-100$ price range.

It's a sturdy, fairly light, unoffensive-looking gaming headset. It won't clamp your head with excessive force and both the ear pads and the inner side of the headband are covered in soft materials, which is why you can wear it for many hours at a time without feeling any discomfort at all. In case pleather ear pads aren't to your liking, you'll find a replacement pair of microsuede pads in the box. They will let your ears breathe a bit more, but also leak a bit more sound in both directions, so you'll have to decide for yourself if you see that as an acceptable compromise.

The audio performance is tuned for spatial awareness and fun. The thick, deep, boomy bass makes action games and movies sound like a spectacle. Even though the low-end isn't detailed and perfectly controlled, Logitech didn't forget about the mid-range and the high-range, those parts of the frequency spectrum with such critical information as enemy footsteps and gunfire. They're handled just like you'd expect from a gaming headset that was developed in cooperation with eSports professionals—the G Pro Gaming Headset makes it exceptionally easy to figure out which side your enemies are approaching from and where you're getting shot from. I tested it in Battlefield V and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout public betas, as well as PUBG, and ended up impressed by the amount of information this headset provided me with in all of them. Its sound signature also synergizes well with modern types of music (EDM and its derivatives), but not so much with music genres where boominess in the low-end is unwanted.

Finally, nothing was left to chance in the microphone quality department either. As you can hear in the sample on the previous page of this review, the Logitech G Pro Gaming Headset comes with an excellent microphone, one of the best ones in the $100 price range.

To sum it all up, if you're after a great gaming headset with around $100 to spend, the Logitech G Pro Gaming Headset is an excellent choice. While it won't blow you away with a sheer amount of features, everything it tries to do, it does practically without a fault.
