Mionix is a Swedish company that focuses on one thing - gaming peripherals. They sold a keyboard before, along with mousepads they have discounted since, and we have hence in recent years seen their entire product portfolio consist solely of different mice. Their brand recognition has been growing steadily to where they have developed a user base within the past few years they deemed global enough to introduce another keyboard into their product lineup. Along with this came a new marketing campaign built around the catch phrase "Get Fresh!" with new color schemes and lighter palettes chosen to differentiate their products from the competition. Today, we take a look at the Mionix Wei, and thanks again to Mionix for providing the review sample.
The Mionix Wei is a full-size keyboard that comes in US, UK, Nordic, French, German, and Japanese layout options. I have here the US layout, which is in turn a modified ANSI layout, as seen by the differing top and bottom rows. In particular, Mionix added seven extra keys to serve as dedicated controls for media and more, which does help with productivity. In addition, we can also see a two-tone color scheme in action here, which is complemented by full 16.8 M RGB backlighting. Let us thus examine the keyboard and its features in more detail now, beginning with a look at the specifications below.
