SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless Review
Packaging, Weight & Feet »Introduction

SteelSeries is a Denmark-based peripherals company founded in 2001. To this day, the Rival 3 (see our review here) is still among the top recommendations for people on a budget. The Rival 3 Wireless picks right up where the Rival 3 left off, bringing dual connectivity—2.4 GHz or Bluetooth—to an affordable price point. In terms of shape, the Rival 3 Wireless is no different from the Rival 3. As for the sensor, the Rival 3 Wireless is using the custom TrueMove Air capable of up to 18,000 CPI, which is a surprisingly high-quality sensor at this price point. The Rival 3 Wireless can be used either with one or two AAA-batteries. Additionally, SteelSeries promises up to 400 hours of battery life, as well as a generally more reliable wireless connection (2.4 GHz). Main button switches rated for 60 million clicks, full software customizability, and basic RGB lighting round things off.
