Swiftech H240 X3 AIO Review

Packaging

Packaging for the Swiftech H240 X3 AIO measures in at 33.0 cm long, 23.1 cm wide, and 14.6 cm tall. Like the packaging for the H360X3 AIO, the H240X3 AIO box also lacks any images of the cooler on the top, front, and left. As you can see, it's just a big black box with the Swiftech logo prominently displayed on each panel and no markings to indicate which product is inside. Specifications are not listed either.

The back, right, and bottom are the same as the other sides; just an image of the Swiftech logo on a black box. The only way the box could be more spartan is if it were made out of ordinary brown cardboard.

Contents

Swiftech delivers a well-protected product fully encased in foam for protection, which is a nice upgrade from the typical cardboard tray. While it's not a huge deal, it does offer some peace of mind and certainly leaves me happy.

The mounting hardware supplied by Swiftech supports every socket imaginable, including AMD's TR4. The only socket that gets no love is Intel's ancient LGA775 socket, which is no surprise. As for the unit itself, it is pre-filled with Mayhems Pastel white Nanofluid coolant for which Swiftech has provided Mayhem dyes for users to color the coolant.

Common parts supplied for mounting include:
  • 8x Radiator fan screws
  • 4x Washers
  • 4x LGA 115x standoffs
  • 4x LGA 2011 standoffs
  • 4x Phillips-head spring-loaded screws
  • 4x AMD bracket screws
  • 2x 120 mm RGB fans
  • 3x Tubes of coolant dyes
  • 2x AMD mounting bracket
  • 1x Tube of thermal paste
  • 1x Backplate
  • 1x Pre-filled liquid cooler
  • 1x User's manual
  • 1x IRIS RGB/PWM splitter
  • 1x Set bolts for PWM splitter installation
