TechPowerUp Intel XMP Memory of the Year

Patriot Viper Xtreme 5 RGB DDR5-8000 CL38 32 GB

The Viper Gaming Xtreme 5 RGB DDR5-8000 CL38 32 GB (2x 16 GB) memory kit (model: PVXR532G80C38K) is a fantastic enthusiast-class memory kit for those on 13th Gen and 14th Gen Core K-series unlocked processors to go absolutely bonkers overclocking. The kit has XMP profiles for DDR5-8000, as well as additional DDR5-7600 and DDR5-7800 profiles for those motherboards that can't quite hit DDR5-8000 yet. It does these with reasonably tight 38-48-48-84-117 at 1.45 V timings. Under the hood is SK Hynix A-die DRAM chips. The modules are crowned by no-nonsense RGB diffusers. All this, for a decent $230 price-tag.

Team Group T-Force Delta RGB DDR5-7200 32 GB

The Team Group T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB (2x 16 GB) DDR5-7200 memory kit (model: FF3D532G7200HC3ADC01), has a reasonable feature-set. This kit is for those that just want a DDR5-7000 class memory that they can install and forget about, and not fidget too much with. Its sole XMP profile runs it at DDR5-7200 at 34-42-42-84-127, and 1.40 V. Under the hood are the same SK Hynix A-die DRAM chips as our segment winner, and if you're feeling adventurous, you can try pushing this kit to beyond DDR5-8000 by loosening the timings a little, and jumping to 1.45 V. At $130, it's also good value.

Notable Mentions

If you're on a tight budget, the ADATA XPG Lancer Blade DDR5-6000 CL30 32 GB kit (model: AX5U6000C3016G-DTLABR) is worth a shot, for its immense bang for the buck. We're seeing prices under $120 for this kit. This kit hits the advertised DDR5-6000 speed with timings of 30-40-40, and 1.35 V. It packs both XMP and AMD EXPO profiles. With some luck, you can get it up to DDR5-6400 or beyond without tinkering with the voltage or timings.

TechPowerUp AMD EXPO Memory of the Year

Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5-6000 64 GB CL30 AMD Edition

AMD Ryzen 7000 processors are the company's first generation of processors to support DDR5, and the company made it pretty clear that DDR5-6000 is the memory performance sweetspot, beyond which there are diminishing returns on performance as 1:2 FClk offsets step in. CORSAIR figured that if it can get a 64 GB (2x 32 GB) kit up stable at DDR5-6000 that's been validated on Ryzen 7000, and an AMD EXPO profile to the boot, it will have a winning product on its hands for the AMD crowd—and it's right. The Corsair Dominattor Titanium DDR5-6000 64 GB AMD Edition is a work of art. A word of caution, though, only some of the flagship X670E motherboards are known to play well with dual-rank modules such as these at DDR5-6000. There's also a surprise DDR5-6200 EXPO profile to play with, if you get lucky stabilizing the FClk.

G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6000

The G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6000 (model: F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR) is a very close second to the Dominator Titanium, is an ideal choice if you don't need 64 GB and want something that hits DDR5-6000 safely even in mid-range B650 motherboards. The EXPO profile enables DDR5-6000 with slick 30-38-38-96 timings at 1.35 V.
