TRETTITRE is an emerging speaker and amplifier company based out of Shenzhen, China that is trying to sound exotic to try and get people to dismiss initial biases against Chinese audio brands. A cursory look at the company's website reveals it is fairly new and prides itself on craftsmanship in addition to pure audio experiences. Yet it mentions how its engineers and designers have been developing product concepts for nearly 10 years to where its current product line has been borne out of planning that has taken months to years at times. I had never heard of the brand until one of Linsoul's co-founders mentioned how they had come across its speakers and were so impressed that they immediately decided to start listing Trettitre products. With such a positive recommendation from someone who has access to anything and everything in the audio space, I was certainly intrigued and agreed to cover the brand. I am just glad this is a written review where I do not need to worry about how that word is pronounced, which incidentally happens to be Swedish for "33".
Today we take a look at the TRETTITRE TreSound1—not the best name but who cares when one look at the product will just have you pondering what it even is? This is a single speaker unit that takes inspiration from the Nordic mountains that it got the wood from for its chassis. There's quite a lot going on here and it is much bigger than you think it is too. Consider the TreSound1 as a Bluetooth speaker for your living room thus, given it's a statement piece as much as it is for impromptu parties. The TreSound1 debuted via the crowdfunding route last year and originally came in three color options—Snow Peak, Majestic Mountain, Green Hill—seen above, and there's a new Flame Red finish released recently too. There's certainly a lot to talk about in our review and thanks to Linsoul again for providing a review sample to TechPowerUp as we begin with a look at the product specifications in the table below.

Packaging and Accessories
The TRETTITRE TreSound1 ships in its own specific cardboard box complete with a design that includes the company logo and product name, a simplified render of the speaker in what appears to be 1:1 scale now that I think about it, as well as various certification logos. This is effectively the product box thus but also one that leaves little to the imagination for others who might chance upon your expensive parcel during its way to you. Ignore the orange tape at the top given that is from Linsoul, deciding to also pack in a set of IEMs inside this box. Opening it up, I was greeted to a second container with cutouts on the side to help extract it but I still found it easier to simply turn over the box and let gravity do its job.
When you are ordering a large and premium-built product, you certainly want it to arrive in perfect condition. TRETTITRE places the TreSound1 inside a two-piece thick foam box with further branding and a sticker confirming the exact model inside—note how the new Flame Red isn't even listed here. You will need to cut through the sticker to lift up the lid and access the contents inside.
The primary compartment in the middle houses the speaker itself, and removing it is simple enough once again owing to handily placed cutouts for your fingers. There are also side compartments for accessories, albeit only one is used here. TRETTITRE includes paperwork in the form of a quick start guide (online copy here) which is well worth going over given the absence of any mobile apps and reliance on onboard controls that are not immediately obvious. The other accessories come in a fancy fabric pouch which you can use for other purposes in the future if you so desire, it's certainly sturdy enough. Inside we get a TRETTITRE-branded steel ruler for some reason in addition to the more relevant power supply and AC mains cable. The TreSound1 takes up to 2.7 A off the 24 VDC rail so the power supply is also a transformer accepting AC power and feeding a max of 65 W to the speaker unit.
TRETTITRE has a shaped soft dust cover custom made for the TreSound1 too, which is handy given its unique shape. This can be used when the speaker is not in active use and comes already wrapped over and around the speaker courtesy three taped seals holding it in place on the bottom. Remove the cover to finally access the speaker itself, which we will go over in more detail on the next page.
