A quick look at the box shows XPG was willing to splurge a bit by offering full-color packaging that gives potential buyers a good look at what they are getting. It is also worth noting that the cooler lists full compatibility with every motherboard manufacturer's RGB sync software right on front. A quick flip gives us a look at the supported CPU sockets and specifications of the cooler, which oddly enough only supports AM4 for AMD according to the box. A quick turn to the left results in a box panel that lists the cooler's various features, including its hassle-free installation, FDB fan bearings, etc.


This panel has a QR code and shows off some more of that ARGB illuminated goodness while listing the Asetek origins of the cooler. Finally, the last side of the box just shows a graph detailing the fan speed, airflow, and noise levels, as noted by XPG. While interesting, the data doesn't really mean a whole lot for the typical end user.

Ah, the lovable and all too familiar cardboard tray. It does its job, and it does it well; thus, the cardboard tray once again makes a return with the XPG Levante 240. I can't really complain considering it's a proven solution, but I would have appreciated a thin foam sheet on top. Oh well, the packaging is solid, and the cooler arrived safe and sound, and that is all that matters.


The cooler supports the sockets you would expect, including Intel's mainstream and HEDT systems, along with AMD's AM4 platform. Surprisingly, the box does not list support for AMD's other platforms, which is odd but not entirely unexpected. AM3 and the other platforms are quite old and outdated at this point.
