XVX M84 Coral Sea Theme Mechanical Keyboard Review

Introduction

XVX Logo

XVX is a Chinese peripheral brand that focuses on keyboards and has Womier as a sister brand with whom it operates collectively. A look at the company website confirms it started with the use of simple themes and keycaps before going further down the road of custom designs that go past the keycaps and involve keyboard cases, too. I was contacted by XVX about reviewing some of their keyboards and chose one I had seen a few times online. The subject of this review is the XVX M84 Coral Sea keyboard thus, and thanks to XVX for providing TechPowerUp a review sample!

Some of the shop pages for this keyboard incorrectly classify it as an 80% keyboard (TKL form factor), which the product page corrects by describing it as an 84-key, 75% form factor keyboard. This explains the "M84" in the name, with the rest of the name corresponding to the theme. The teaser image above shows a modified US ANSI layout, RGB lighting with opaque keycaps, and wireless connectivity with macOS support. There's clearly a lot to dig through in our review today, so let's begin with a look at the product specifications in the table below!
