Introduction
Zaopin is a peripherals company based in China. Compared to previous Zaopin releases, the right-handed ergonomic ZPW Max differs in several key aspects. Unlike the Z2 and Z2 Mini, the ZPW Max doesn't come with hot-swappable mechanical main button switches, but rather Omron D2FP-FN2 (China) optical switches. While the ZPW Max features PixArt's latest PAW3950 sensor capable of 30,000 CPI, the regular ZPW has the older PixArt PAW3395 sensor. In wireless operation, both versions support 8000 Hz polling. The shape is clearly modeled after the SteelSeries Prime, landing right between the Prime and Prime Mini in terms of size. Configuration is possible either through software or conveniently through a web driver. The ZPW Max is available in blue, black, white (black bottom), or white (orange bottom).
