HiFiMAN's first truly portable circum-aural headphone is dubbed the Edition S. The Edition S is an ambitious set both in terms of acoustics and usability, featuring a user-detachable cable and foldable design. On the acoustics front, HiFiMAN has managed to create something that works both as an open-back and closed-back design, which I have not come across before. Price-wise, the Edition S is more wallet friendly than other models in the Edition range from HiFiMAN. The Edition S is priced at $249, which is not bad considering its multi-role design.
