The Solidigm D7-P5510 is a solid-state drive in the U.2 form factor, launched on December 16th, 2020. It is only available in the 7.5 TB capacity listed on this page. With the rest of the system, the Solidigm D7-P5510 interfaces using a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 connection. The SSD controller is the EAX 34144 SLNBX Sentinel Rock from Intel, a DRAM cache chip is available. Solidigm has installed 144-layer pTLC (QLC) NAND flash on the D7-P5510, the flash chips are made by Solidigm. Thanks to support for the fast PCI-Express 4.0 interface, performance is excellent. The D7-P5510 is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s and 4,194 MB/s write; random IOPS reach up to 930K for reads and 190K for writes.
