And yet the simplicity of the word no says everything it needs to in one simple word. Truth is the deals aren't anything special and while discounted, it's not enough to yet warrant a purchase.

Damn you, Blizzard! Putting that 2nd rate crap that doesn't sell on a regular day on sale, while Diablo 3 and SC2 campaigns are left to rot!

D3 *should* rot. It was rotten from the beta, then Blizzard rotten move 'we won't do *anything* to fix the game, but in just 8 months we'll release patch-expansion, for just 40g'. Story is rotten and expansion is overpriced. And so is DLC.

Now it's a dead-weight for them, they need to add stuff that last for 2 weeks constantly, to keep any of the initial player-base.

D2, on the other hand, survives for so many years without any work on it - made by professionals who knew what they're doing and why.

D3 was made by amateurs with no real opinions on anything, which allowed *voting* for game functions in the beta, changed their initial decisions to complete reverse, know no math at all which lead to ridiculous results. There done a few good things, but nothing more. They have API for tracking usage of skills, and allow passives and runes used by under 1% of players unimproved for years, also true for 90%+ ones.

It's a bit touchy topic for me, sorry...

D3 will never ever be able to beat Diablo 2 on anything else except, maybe, graphics. D2 was/is that good.

Not any less than yours, to paraphrase your previous post amounted to "Overwatch, maybe." Why are you going to jump on him when you comment is nearly as pointless but just more words.

If that were the case, then I wouldnt have found the need to post and I may still have an understanding as to why he said no in the first place without providing any context.

Why is that? Genuine question. Quite the opposite it seems.

At least mine gave context as to my thinking and what I might do. Yours just said "no" without contexting why. So mine was actually more constructive.

It's still in the blizz launcher though. And even though it's discounted, doesnt mean blizz necessarily did it. Bungie who made the deal with blizz to include it, could have asked them to discount it.

Yeah w/e, it's not a game made by Blizzard, that's my point.
