Razer Unveils New BlackWidow V4 and BlackWidow V4 X

Earlier this year we introduced the award-winning Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro. It set a new benchmark for our mission in crafting keyboards that truly enhance and immerse you in your gaming world. Today, we are expanding on that success, with the introduction of the Razer BlackWidow V4 and BlackWidow V4 X.

Designed with an emphasis on advanced control and immersive gaming, the BlackWidow V4 and V4 X feature proprietary Razer Mechanical Switches Gen-3. Our Green Clicky Switches are well-loved by Razer fans for their precise execution with a clicky, tactile feel, while our Yellow Mechanical Switches are favored for quick execution that's smooth and silent, ensuring an optimized gaming experience tailored to individual playstyles. Both keyboards come with a choice of either switch.
The BlackWidow V4: A Necessary Tool for Battlestation Control
The BlackWidow V4 is not merely an accessory but a central part of your gaming setup. It boasts vibrant Razer Chroma RGB lighting, features 6 dedicated macro keys, Doubleshot ABS Keycaps, per-key lighting, and a versatile multi-function roller with 4 media keys, all for uncompromising control.

It also comes with significant innovations including: 8000 Hz HyperPolling rate, 2-side Underglow RGB lighting, and a Magnetic Plush Leatherette Wrist Rest, guaranteeing comfort even for extended gaming sessions.

The BlackWidow V4 X: Advanced Keyboard Designed for Immersive Gameplay
The BlackWidow V4 X has all the hallmark features you've come to love from a Razer keyboard: premium design, vibrant Razer Chroma RGB lighting, customizable 6 dedicated macro keys and a multi-function roller.

We've also incorporated Secondary Media Keys for convenient media control and the internal Sound Dampening Foam to reduce unwanted pinging while gaming. It's a significant step-up from conventional mechanical keyboards and truly a treat for the senses.

With the BlackWidow V4 Pro, BlackWidow V4 and BlackWidow V4 X, we now proudly offer a comprehensive BlackWidow line catering to the needs of every gamer. Our mission to create gear that complements diverse gaming styles continues, and these keyboards embody our commitment to that mission.

The BlackWidow V4 is now available for purchase at $169.99 USD / €189.99 MSRP and the BlackWidow V4 X at $129.99 USD / €149.99 MSRP over at Razer.com, RazerStores, and Authorized Resellers. i have had 4-5 razor products and all of them failed mainly within warranty. I had the original BW and it failed with in it's year warranty and the replacement did too, don't even get me started with mice.

Anyways is 8000 Hz Polling rate actually going to do any thing ?.

I prefer the Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro. It's low profile mechanical keys make it so much easier to type with, as opposed to the big dumpy keys of the Black Widow

The position of macro keys is an absolute no-go for me. As someone who's accustomed to Ctrl being the left most button on the keyboard, putting any key there will throw my typing off significantly. Already tried the Logitech G813 and kept hitting macro keys by accident when I tried to copy/paste something. Eventually had to give it away despite being a great low profile keyboard.

I wish keyboard designers finally realized this and stop putting macro keys on the left side.
