ABOUT FFVII:RB
FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is the highly anticipated new story in the FINAL FANTASY VII remake project, a reimagining of the iconic original game into three standalone titles by its original creators. In this game, players will enjoy various new elements as the story unfolds, culminating in the party's journey to "The Forgotten Capital" from the original FINAL FANTASY VII.
Join Cloud and his friends on a journey across the planet in search of Sephiroth, experiencing the captivating story and thrilling combat, in FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH:

Regions of the World
The world of FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is comprised of multiple regions. Each boasts unique environments for you to explore. Let's take a look at a couple now:

Starboard Junon
An urban residential zone within the fortified metropolis overlooking the ocean. In addition to housing for Shinra personnel, high-end boutiques and restaurants line its streets.
Currently, preparations are underway here for Rufus Shinra's presidential inauguration parade.

Shinra-8
A Shinra cruise ship that ferries travelers between the planet's eastern and western continents. After departing the port of Junon, it heads for the resort town of Costa del Sol.
As part of the on-board entertainment, the ship plays host to a Queen's Blood tournament.

New Characters: Cait Sith & Moogle
This gregarious cat fights from atop his sturdy moogle mount, who provides both mobility and support during battle.
When Cait's not duking it out, his high-tech helper aids him in hacking computer systems and telling fortunes.

New Characters: Elena
  • Voice Actor: Piper Reese
Though she may be a rookie, she's as skilled with her fists and a gun as anyone else in the Turks unit of Shinra's General Affairs Division.
She and her partner Rude are tasked with pursuing the black-robed figures, which she is more than happy to do if it means being assigned a mission with Tseng.

New Characters: Captain Titov
  • Voice Actor: Jonathan Lipow
The captain of the Shinra-8, responsible for overseeing safe passage for all who travel between Junon and Costa del Sol. He's earned a sterling reputation among his crew, thanks to his unerring devotion to his duties.
This is most evident during the various festivities held aboard his vessel, which he personally - and passionately—emcees.

Can’t wait to see how much of a hilarious trainwreck the story that Nomura and company is trying to go for will turn out. The moment it turned out that this is not really a remake, but a pseudo-sequel reimagining and that we ARE bringing all the insane nonsense from the Compilation into it I instantly grabbed my popcorn. Dis gonna b gud.

So this one is ending at the end of the original disk 1?

This is how I think it'll go for the next ones: game 3 will be disk 2 until Cloud returns, game 4 will be until you reach the crater, game 5 will be just the final dungeon... and game 6 will be the epilogue and credits.

There will be only three parts.

So still some waiting for a PC version (I hope that it's not Epic exclusive first like Remake Intergrade was) as like I'm waiting for XVI to come to PC. I'm not getting a new console just for a game or two.

I guess it's a reasonable excuse having the game in episodes as the full game will be huge. Though paying 80EUR per episode sucks hard, the later ones after Remake Intergrade could be just DLCs with lower costs.

Plausible, but a lot of people are not willing to buy into it.

I refused to play StarCraft 2 for that same reason(that and the crap DRM). Provide the whole game, all at once or get knotted.

I'll most likely still buy it even though I hate the way of milking customers :/

Some people are ok with it. I'm one of those people that will get very irritated and annoyed when I can't actually finish what I've started. I'm talking by everything in life, not just games.

I am going to put on a different, personal point of view.

My health is not so good, the point that there are days I worry I wont see the next.

FF VII was my favorite game. The only game I paid in a decade when it came out on PC.

I am afraid I wont finish it.

It's more than just the money, waiting 1-2 years per part can turn off many potential players who will move on to another thing or literally kill em.
