Need for Speed: ProStreet demo tomorrow?

Expreview states that EA Games will release a demo of the upcoming Need for Speed: ProStreet game tomorrow.

The "driving area" of the game has been re-worked to offer a more authentic experience. As in the prequels, all race circuits will be closed - you will not be able to choose your own way from point A to point B in a race. A new damage model will be present in ProStreet, and the racer will have to repair his car after the race. 4 game modes should be available.

AddSubDie, "shtreet" racing sims, DIE!

The Fast and the Furious culture has killed the racing sims, although Test Drive Unlimited was a breath of fresh air. Eh, there is always the NFS modding community, although it aint what it used to be.
it has even effed up streetracing too ..

So, the demo will be released!
12am pacific time. weeee!

//EDIT Demo will be delayed till 9th of november, because the installation-file is damaged - what a bad joke... one of the biggest game developer needs a week to fix a broken install-file, sounds more like a pointless excuse...

I wouldn't put it past them that it actually is broken, EA breaks everything...

And come on, it's EA, they take a week to fix the simplest of things.

yea, that is disappointing. now-a days you just have to figure that whatever any of these companies says about the release of a game add atleast 2-3 weeks.

I have the demo on my PS3 and the graphics don't impress too much. Now I'm thinkin of canceling my preorder for the PS3 version and buying the PC version.

Game sucks balls, GFX are joke for today's games, gameplay is so boring i literally found myself falling to sleep at the wheel, which in this games case, ain't a bad thing. Its basically another EA unoptimised direct console to PC port, don't feed them your cash, this is just more crap, generic pish.:banghead:

Gamershell ftw!

God I hope they don't ever turn into another vileplanet.

EDIT:

Well, the UI is leaving a lot to be desired, especially with the irony of the message that encourages people to stop 'street racing,' but then proceeds to show you a cinematic of street racing :)

The controls are awful, standard, has a clutch (though doesn't require it..pointless) and extremely jerky/sensitive.

Visuals, not bad, best thing was probably the updated smoke and damage of cars.

The two lap race on the small circut was much better than the desert run.

5/10 from me. Looks like it's shaping up to be another 'underground' and I just can't face that again.
