The Mobility Radeon HD 2700 was a mobile graphics chip by ATI, launched on December 12th, 2007. Built on the 65 nm process, and based on the M76 graphics processor, in its M76 XT-M variant, the chip supports DirectX 10.0. Since Mobility Radeon HD 2700 does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The M76 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 153 mm² and 390 million transistors. It features 120 shading units, 8 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs. ATI has paired 256 MB GDDR3 memory with the Mobility Radeon HD 2700, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 650 MHz, memory is running at 700 MHz. Being a mxm module card, its power draw is rated at 35 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device.
