The Radeon Pro W5500M is a professional mobile graphics chip by AMD, launched on February 10th, 2020. Built on the 7 nm process, and based on the Navi 14 graphics processor, in its Navi 14 PRO XTM variant, the chip supports DirectX 12. The Navi 14 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 158 mm² and 6,400 million transistors. It features 1408 shading units, 88 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. AMD has paired 4 GB GDDR6 memory with the Radeon Pro W5500M, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1448 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1645 MHz, memory is running at 1750 MHz (14 Gbps effective). Its power draw is rated at 85 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device. Radeon Pro W5500M is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 4.0 x8 interface.
