The Radeon X1600 XT Dual was a graphics card by ATI, that was never released. Built on the 90 nm process, and based on the RV530 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 9.0c. Since Radeon X1600 XT Dual does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The RV530 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 150 mm² and 157 million transistors. Radeon X1600 XT Dual combines two graphics processors to increase performance. It features 12 pixel shaders and 5 vertex shaders, 4 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs, per GPU. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). ATI has paired 512 MB GDDR3 memory with the Radeon X1600 XT Dual, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface per GPU (each GPU manages 256 MB). The GPU is operating at a frequency of 590 MHz, memory is running at 690 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, the ATI Radeon X1600 XT Dual draws power from 1x Molex power connector, with power draw not exactly known. Display outputs include: 2x DVI. Radeon X1600 XT Dual is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 1.0 x16 interface.
