Ajazz AJ199 4K Review

Packaging, Weight & Feet »

Introduction

Ajazz Logo

Established in 2009, Ajazz is a peripherals company based in China. Compared to the regular AJ199, the AJ199 4K comes with one main novelty, which of course is true 4000 Hz wireless polling. To accommodate this, the battery capacity has been tripled to 900 mAh, which nets up to 300 hours of battery life according to Ajazz. To keep battery life up and the weight down, RGB lighting is effectively not present and restricted to just the scroll wheel lighting up in accordance with the set CPI step. Unlike the regular AJ199, the AJ199 4K utilizes a solid-shell design, yet manages to achieve a weight of 63 g while sporting a much larger battery. PixArt's PAW3395 sensor capable of 26,000 CPI is used along with Huano switches (blue shell, pink plunger) for the main buttons. The feet are made of black-dyed PTFE. The usual customization options are found within the software. The AJ199 4K is available in either black or white.
