MAINGEAR Energizes eX-L and ALT Notebooks with Updated Design, Chipset and Graphics
MAINGEAR, an award-winning PC system builder offering custom desktops, notebooks, workstations,has revitalized its notebook line, catering to the diverse needs of on-the-go students, gamers, professionals, and other mobile users. With updates to their 15.6-inch ALT and 15.6-inch and 17-inch eX-L series notebooks, updated options include refined designs, better mobile graphics, and new screen options. All of these notebooks and will support future 3rd generation Intel Core processors with Intel HM76 and HM77 chipset and offer the latest in portable productivity, multimedia, and gaming performance.
The new MAINGEAR ALT-15 is a hybrid notebook that offers outstanding graphics performance while also prolonging battery life utilizing NVIDIA Optimus technology. The ALT-15 offers NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M GPU with 1 GB GDDR3 memory, choice of Intel Core i5 or i7 mobile processor, and the screen options has been updated to offer up to 1920 x 1080 Full HD 16:9 resolution. Furthermore, consumers have the option to select a Super Clear glare-type screen or the 95% NTSC color gamut in matte finish for even more vibrant colors. The next mobile performance notebook MAINGEAR has updated is the eX-L 15 series. The eX-L 15 Stock notebook offers a choice of Intel Core i5 2450M or up to Intel Core i7 2860QM mobile processor. This notebook also features the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M GPU, up to 32 GB of DDR3 1866 MHz memory and up to 600 GB solid state drive or up to 750 GB Hybrid SSDs hard drives. The new MAINGEAR's eX-L 17 features Intel Core i7 2960XM mobile processor optionally overclocked to 4.5 GHz and beyond, graphics options of either the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M or GTX 675M with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, and up to 2 slots for HD space that can fit up to 600 GB solid state drive or up to 750 GB Hybrid SSDs hard drives that can be configured in RAID 0 or RAID 1.
