I still don't get why don't don't advertise 670 improvements in their description, they talk about 680 and 660Ti %'s but skip my 670 haha

and are these improvements over the last WHQL or the latest 310 beta? because i thought the previous 310 beta already had "significant improvements". I know it says compared to WHQL in the article but I guess my question is are there MORE improvements are is this just tweaking the latest beta a little more.

I've noticed a 2-5 FPS gain in almost all games I play.

nVidia´s drivers sucks....

310.33 worked well.....but the 310.54 is causing serious deterioration....flickering and little black boxes......(It´s only in Borderlands 2 I get these errors)

Either it is Windows 8 or PhysX that causes this....I presume

Back to 310.33....

i hope they do up their game when it comes to drivers, they lost their touch recently. Whereas AMD has improved significantly, to the point that their cards now beat nvidia's cards at performance and is cheaper.

I'm still rocking 306.23 on my 580 SOC. Seems to be the most stable driver for me. I'm going to wait a few days or so before trying this new beta driver and see what the public feedback is. Also, I'll see whether is worth the update on an older gpu.

Recently it seems Nvidia beta drivers aren't as stable as they used to be.

Exactly! And we now need more of just direct competitors' AIB cards all various OC etc; in somewhat the same price range, say $200-300 and then $120-200. Those are the battlegrounds that these driver improvements are targeting to swing. That's the majority of purchasers’ in the market today. We need to really see what’s trending with such claims, and how pricing/perf today is or isn't being stirred by such shifts.

Anymore the tea leaves aren't fresh enough...

In-case you didnt know Nvidia got there forums back up Nov. 1 (5+ months)

Someone did a driver comparison here -> Fall 2012 GPU and Driver Comparison Roundup

W1zzard should do a test but hopefully stick to one system setup vga rev. Going between system setups & vga revs is just odd. Like he states
Benchmark scores in other reviews are only comparable when this exact same configuration is used
Unless i'm missing something its clear you cant be consistent on each rev. Although i'm guessing scores from all revs are carried over to make the graph.

System Setup might change in a while within revisions but drivers change and depending on whats released/reviewed you always have obscurity with the past #/scores. If those scores are carried over from the time of review or re-run with noted rev.
AMD & Nvidia are always run on different revisions and with-in those revisions you'll always have a different drivers used on the product being reviewed ofcourse and those refered to in general.

AMD drivers are excellent when it comes to graphics processing and graphics processing stability. Anything else, like CCC, HDMI, etc... are complete trash.

Yeah...neither do. What actually "sucks" is users who don't know how or don't bother to troubleshoot their rigs and jump to non-data driven and poorly thought out conclusions as to the cause of their issue.

I can't wait for the WHQL version of this driver to come out. I can't seem to get the Windows 8 Netflix app to work with beta nvidia drivers

Updating to these latest Beta's is causing BF3 to crash to desktop with the old "BF3 has stopped working" message.

Reverting back to the latest WHQL drivers has fixed the problem. This is the first set of beta drivers I have ever had a problem with, so here is hoping they work this out before it goes WHQL.

Typically you don't see these issues with nvidia, but given the scope of changes that were necessary to alter performance that much I'd expect issues, and playing catchup means it was probably a crunch.

That tells us nothing. If it's 2-5 frames in HAWX's 200+ FPS maxed out, bleh, if it's 2-5 frames in Metro 2033's 30FPs maxed out, then nice.

Anyone know how these drivers would improve a 2x GF GTX 660 2GB Sli?
