The LaCie 2TB Biggest FW800 box can hold up to 2 TeraBytes of data. Containing up to 4 hot-swappable 500MB hard disks and a small LCD screen, it connects to your computer via a Firewire 400/800 or USB 2.0 cable. The system's on-board hard disk controller can access the drives as one gigantic storage block, or put the hard disks in RAID 0+1, 5, or 5+ arrays. The RAID type can be controlled by a switch on the back of the drive. The drive automatically responds to drive, fan and power failures, and will shut itself off at 55*C.
