EVGA Announces its GeForce GTX 1060 Series

The EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card is loaded with innovative new gaming technologies, making it the perfect choice for the latest high-definition games. Powered by NVIDIA Pascal - the most advanced GPU architecture ever created - the GeForce GTX 1060 delivers brilliant performance that opens the door to virtual reality and beyond.

These cards also feature EVGA ACX cooling technology. EVGA ACX once again brings new and exciting features to the award winning EVGA ACX cooling technology. SHP gives increased heatpipes and copper contact area for cooler operation, and optimized fan curve for even quieter gaming. Of course, ACX coolers also feature optimized swept fan blades, double ball bearings and an extreme low power motor, delivering more airflow with less power, unlocking additional power for the GPU.
EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 Superclocked - Small Size, Huge Performance

Nice to see a small single fan version.

I wonder, would the tiny-winy single-fan card be cooler (and quieter) than a dual-fan one in my cramped Aerocool DS Cube since it blows most of the hot air out from the back?

If EVGA'll follow up and release a backplate for the single fan version of the 1060, then that'll be damn near perfect. Even nicer is the fact that EVGA's single fan midrange-high end cards are now ACX as well; in the GTX 750 Ti generation they weren't. Double ball bearings are nice to have in an industry where the fans usually are all made to look fancy and shit but at the end of the day are all sleeve bearing, on top of a shaky 2 year warranty.

i really admire that EVGA and MSI still keeps their usual scheme all over the generations, with minor changes but its almost the same scheme, i wish gigabyte will do the same and never do again something like the shitty Windforce 3X they present for 1000 series...

Amazon has the stock clock and +100 MHz versions of the evga mini cards up for pre-order. (I went for the stock clock model.) Not sure if evga's $10 rebate for the SC version works with Amazon. Wonder how long it'll take to arrive.
