Looks like Mionix used garment for underwear to make those. :shadedshu:

Jesus, these guys again...
I think they make some of the ugliest peripherals and accessories on the market.
An image of their pink mouse imprinted in my brain forever, and now.... hamburger pads :banghead:

Mionix should be a solid, cold, calculated European company.

What the hell is this?!

Awesome, but I have my doubts about these pads handling food and drinks and machine washing for price of 23 eur. My kid has tested all cheapo pads I have and they don't do well with liquids :D But who knows. I like the ice cream one ;)

My Chinese Razer Goliathus clone (same thing, but pretty and no hamburgers) already went through 5-6 washing cycles. Seems OK for a $7 pad.
Spent $10 on another 700x300 pad last october - also fine after the first scrub and wash. Could've bought larger 900x440, but it is way too big for my desk.

I wonder what's washable about a piece of cloth firmly attached to rubber.

These are infinitely better than the glut of MOAH MACHO POWAAAAAAAHHHHH mouse pads out there. At least this has some humour to it and a feeling of playfulness, as opposed to a feeling of overcompensating overtly performative clichéd teenage stereotypical masculinity.

The cloth? And the (bottom) surface of the rubber? Unless the cloth's suffused with glue, it should be plenty washable. Most cloth mousepads are (though not many can withstand a visit to the washing machine).

It's like the preppiest girl you can image with a dog hanging out of her purse (a la Paris Hilton) came up with this and thought it was cute.

With hamburgers and donuts as the theme? That doesn't quite compute. If it were less "cartoon foodstuffs" and more "high-end fashion brands", you might be onto something. Although I suspect it would then have to be orange-brown leatherette.

I think Mionix has certainly lost their mind.

I think they simply found themselves a niche. Not a nice you and I care about, but a nice nonetheless.

*niche.
True it's not a niche for us but there is a market for it. What I really meant was that just a few years back they were first ones to demo wireless charging for mice and now onto this stuff, it's quite a massive change in direction for a company.

Such a shame considering Mionix started out with minimalist, clean designs. They were a decent alternative for peripherals...and now they are this. :kookoo:

Well, most likely their previous direction wasn't working too well, otherwise they wouldn't have changed it.
And fixed ;)

You might be onto something, although their current home page in general seems to be a stronger indicator than just that product list.

In the end I think it's pretty refreshing and rather brave in the otherwise stereotypically masculine gamer space to go out on a limb and *cough* "get fresh!!" This is not my style at all, but I welcome pretty much anything that brings some diversity to PC/gaming aesthetics. Then again; why is there a mackerel next to this mouse?

This'll definitely get them some attention, that's for sure.
