One of these with a Ryzen APU would be great.

Hmm.... not enough power for my mom to use. All she does it troll on facebook and buy shit on amazon. It's close though.... No thanks, due to the Atom chip and low memory.

Aesthetically looks nice but specs wise...eh. Price isn't too bad for what it is I suppose (hopefully screen is decent). But if it has an ethernet port and a VESA mount, I think I'd like something like this for my homelab just to show stats of my other servers (Grafana-like) while being an independent host.

I'd buy her a decent Chromebook. I think it would do everything she wants fine and the OS is a lot simpler/cleaner for someone just do general browsing, etc.

I thought Archos were long gone. Their tablets were never really good. Some were OK but that was it

Disagree. Archos made some good devices. I've had several. Still have one and it works perfectly.

This would be ideal for her I'd that's all she does?? The Atoms are great little chips and 4GB is just enough.
