Sony PlayStation 5 Reveal Event Rescheduled to June 11

Sony was supposed to reveal its PlayStation 5 next-generation game collection at an online event held on June 4, which never happened. Sony called off the June 4th event in the wake of political unrest in the U.S. The company has now put out a new schedule for its PlayStation 5 Reveal event: June 11, 2020, at 13:00 PT. At the event, Sony is widely expected to showcase the console's capabilities some more; announce a few debut exclusive game titles, and more.

I just hope it supports freesync and we get some decently priced HDMI 2.1 freesync 4k tv's around launch time.

I wonder when pre-orders go live for PS5. I def am going to grab me 1. they better have a limit 1 per person at every store, this crap is going to be out everywhere

Wasn't this suppose to be only an event dedicated to next gen games?

I would be surprised if they don't at least show off the console too though. Is there a source in OP? I don't see one

edit here is the sauce:

It’s also best if you watch while wearing headphones, if you can — there’s some cool audio work in the show, and it might be harder to appreciate if it’s pumped through your phone or laptop speakers.

SO WEAR YOUR HEADPHONES PEEPS!!!!

@btarunr It doesn't look like you read Sony's blog post at all. No one said anything about a console reveal. The sole purpose of this event is to showcase games. That's all they said. Not saying they won't show it, but it's not the focus of the event and if they do it'll be a "just one more thing" moment at the end or something like that. So don't be misleading people.

Though if I had to guess I'd say they're saving it for the teardown event Mark Cerny mentioned in the technical presentation.

I hope they'll show us GT7, I skipped the PS4 for lacking a proper GT.

XOX already support FreeSync, but that "limited" to certain type monitor ( particulary LG ).
PS4 Pro on the other hand goes way beyond that, support VRR on top of HDR but later Sony pull that with firmwire 6.70

This is so stupid that it makes me angry, if I need to see games I start one up on my PC or go to youtube, SHOW THE CONSOLE.
