Studiobook Pro 16 OLED and Studiobook 16 OLED are powered by up to enterprise-grade Intel Xeon (W7600) or the top-of-the-range Intel Core i7 (H7600) processors that make light work of super-complex, heavily multi-threaded photorealistic rendering, visualization, simulation or analysis applications. Studiobook Pro 16 OLED (W5600) and Studiobook 16 OLED (H5600) are powered by up to AMD Ryzen 5000 Series Mobile Processors that make light work of super-complex, heavily multi-threaded photorealistic rendering, visualization, simulation or analysis applications. Studiobook Pro 16 OLED is also the world's first AMD-powered creator laptop to achieve the prestigious NVIDIA RTX Studio certification.
For professional-quality visuals, Studiobook Pro 16 OLED and Studiobook 16 OLED are available with the world's first 16-inch 4K OLED HDR 16:10 550-nit displays that provide an expanded visual workspace for content-creation apps. They are also perfect for color-critical 2D and 3D visual applications, with a cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, PANTONE Validated and Calman Verified certifications, along with factory-calibrated Delta-E < 2 color accuracy and VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black accreditation for a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

The innovative ASUS Dial is the world's first physical rotary control on a laptop[ii]. It lets users interact with creative apps in the most natural and immersive way possible. This intuitive controller gives instant and precise fingertip control over parameters in compatible Adobe creative apps.

All laptops feature dual ultrafast PCIe SSDs, up to 64 GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM, and high-speed connectivity including USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, HDMI 2.1, and an SD Express 7.0 card reader.

Reflecting the rigorous needs of professional creators, Studiobook Pro 16 OLED is ISV certified for compatibility with leading industry-standard creative applications.

World-leading technology

Creativity demands visual perfection, and the new ASUS ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 OLED and Studiobook 16 OLED deliver it, with the world's first 16-inch 4K OLED HDR 16:10 displays that are in a class of their own. The expansive 16:10 aspect-ratio display has an ultraslim-bezel design that provides more screen real estate than ever, with an aspect ratio that's a much more natural match for photos than 16:9. It also gives creators a clearer view of widescreen media projects, with no need to hide toolbars or playback controls.

These displays deliver truly photorealistic visuals that are up to VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certified for ultra-high contrast and deep blacks, and the 100% DCI-P3 industry-standard color gamut ensures the display of as many vivid, true-to-life colors as possible. For delivering precise color accuracy, these remarkable displays are Calman Verified, PANTONE Validated, and have a Delta-E color-accuracy value of less than 2. The displays are also easier on the eyes for those long late-night sessions, with 70% lower blue-light emissions compared to LCD models, and they are certified for eye care by TÜV Rheinland.

The new creator laptops also introduce the innovative ASUS Dial, the world's first physical rotary controller integrated into a laptop. This precision control provides instant, precise and fully-customizable fingertip control over parameters in creative apps. Creators can easily change brush size, change saturation, adjust layer opacity, or rapidly undo actions. They can also adjust screen brightness and volume, or vertical scroll, with over 70 functions available to help smooth creative workflows. ASUS Dial is currently compatible with four Adobe apps: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Photoshop Lightroom Classic, and After Effects. ASUS Dial is the perfect complement to the three-button touchpad with stylus support, and the two customizable keys on the keyboard. The ProArt Creator Hub app features an overview dashboard, and allows creators to switch to different performance modes, calibrate screen color, or customize ASUS Dial. It's a personal portal where creators can monitor their laptop's status, personalize settings, or optimize workflows. They can also personalize your ASUS Dial for preferred features, or setup the Customized Keys in Control Settings for endless creativity.

Comprehensive Connectivity

With a full complement of I/O ports, connecting ASUS ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 OLED or Studiobook 16 OLED to studio peripherals, display devices and networks is easy. There's a USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with Power Delivery, DisplayPort and VR support; a standard RJ45 gigabit Ethernet LAN port; the latest HDMI 2.1 port; an SD Express 7.0 card reader that puts connectivity leagues ahead of the pack; and gigabit-class Intel WiFi 6 (802.11ax).

Support for the very latest HDMI 2.1 standard means creators can push high-resolution content to external high-res displays at resolutions of up to 8K / 120 Hz or 10K / 60 Hz, making Studiobook Pro 16 OLED and Studiobook 16 OLED the perfect choices for today's visual creators. SD Express 7.0 is ready for the fastest ever SD Express cards: supporting speeds of up to 985 MB/s, these are nearly 10x faster than the original SD cards, making it easier and quicker than ever to transfer large files between devices.

Superb audio quality is also part of the Studiobook design goal: the audio experts at Harman Kardon have certified that the finely tuned audio system meets their exacting standards, and DTS technology delivers an amazing multi-channel sound experience, from any kind of source material. The audiophile-grade ESS SABRE DAC features Hi-Res Audio certification for the highest possible audio playback quality and the ability to drive the world's most sophisticated high-impedance headphones. The smart amplifier helps deliver expanded dynamic range and lower distortion that lets creators enjoy richer, clearer highs and deeper bass, with immersive virtual 7.1-channel surround sound.

Compatible, stable and tough

For creatives, software is key. That's why ASUS tests and invests in a comprehensive ISV (Independent Software Vendor) certification processes to ensure ASUS ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 OLED works as expected with professional applications from the world's leading software companies.

Studiobook Pro 16 OLED and Studiobook 16 OLED are also built to meet the ultra-demanding MIL-STD 810H military standard for reliability and durability, undergoing a punishing test regime that includes extended tests for operation in harsh environments. They also pass ASUS laptop tests that far exceed standards set by the industry.

I never use mine on the right side of the keyboard, regardless of the size.
