Four the Win—GIGABYTE Wins Big at iF Design Award 2022

GIGABYTE Technology announced a total of four products under its gaming-focused AORUS brand, including a trio of AORUS high-end Z690 motherboards and the AORUS FO48U large-sized gaming monitor, which have been awarded the prestigious iF Design Award 2022 for their excellence in product design.

The awarded Z690 AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE, Z690 AORUS XTREME, and Z690 AORUS MASTER are the top-of-the-line motherboards engineered to perfectly support the Intel 12th-gen processors. These three motherboards impress the performance-driven enthusiasts with GIGABYTE's state-of-the-art cooling solutions and class-leading power deliveries. Combined with the exclusive DDR5 memory overclocking function, these AORUS Z690 can fully unleash the gaming prowess of the new-gen processors, putting together a powerful and durable platform for those who seek nothing but the extreme performance from their desktop PCs.
The AORUS FO48U gaming monitor also gained the iF Design acknowledgment for delivering groundbreaking visuals that were never seen before. The AORUS FO48U is the world's first 48-inch gaming monitor featuring a 4K OLED panel with up to 120 Hz refresh rate, offering unmatched immersion and esports-grade, silky-smooth gameplay when paired with the latest GPU, such as the GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards. The HDMI 2.1 connectivity also allows gamers to get the most out of their new-gen game consoles by elevating the gaming performance to its full potential. Ideal for both PC and console gaming, the AORUS FO48U gives users the best of both worlds.

This year's iF Design recognition reaffirms GIGABYTE's leadership in product engineering and industrial design, as the brand once again sets the industry standard and benchmark for PC hardware components and a wide range of gaming products. GIGABYTE will continue to lead the way and strive to upgrade every user's life with the most innovative and forward-looking designs.

It’s a shame some of their PSUs didn’t get an award. They deserve some special recognition.

I'm happy with their products, a motherboard and a gpu. I also wouldn't buy something from them that got out of these type of products (the products that they don't make and know nothing about it and just place their sticker over them) without some excelent reviews.

The warranty service i think it's an American thing, i just send to where i bought it and they have 30 days to solve it or money back. Used it once can't complaint. It's more like not having the proper laws to defende consumers.

I don't think they deserve any awards now - apart from other above mentioned things after the hack in last year they really slowed down their firmware development, they are now dead last in releasing anything.

And they have deleted their official forum a few days ago - not that it was very helpful to begin with.

This doesn't seem like an award winning company behaviour.

They just did a recall on motherboards - when was the last time you heard of that from any of the other big 4, that wasn't caused by Intel?

Gigabyte just targets "looking good", while skimping on quality. Their software has always been crap, and it's about time folks realized that the hardware is sketchy too!.

Gigabayte has started to make unusual changes with the new Chipset. On the AORUS MASTER model I was very surprised it no longer has SLI and CF support. This immediately liquidated him from my electoral list. AUROS EXTRIME surprised with audio outputs, which is very deficient in the description and I still do not know if there is a dual encoder or one of these encoders for the microphone, but we would need a good audio review of all new parts and usability, as the front headphone jack has another encoder again and this one is surraund capable . :ohwell: AORUS EXTRIME WATERFORCE, however, far exceeds its value with limited liquid cooling, which required subsequent fixes to cool the 10GB / internet chip , which is far from being properly repaired. Discard liquid cooling for $ 1,100 horror !

So is this one of those awards they truly earned, or the type that the highest bidder wins?

it looks pretty good when they move from complicated looks into something more simple and straight, not like next door brand
