EK Releases Double Rotary Fittings with 21 and 28 mm Offsets

EK, the premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is expanding the Quantum Torque line of fittings by introducing double rotary offset 21 and 28 mm adapter fittings. The EK-Quantum Torque Double Rotary Offsets are premium-quality male-female interconnects with G1/4" ports offsetted by 21 or 28 mm. The fittings come in two offset sizes - 21 and 28 mm, and can rotate around two axes due to two revolvable joints. They can be used to offset two parallel or perpendicular tubes and are best used on GPU and CPU water blocks to align the tube directly with the distribution plate port. Aesthetically, they perfectly match the fittings and adapters from the EK-Quantum Torque series.

This double rotary offset series consists of 8 different models with varying finishes and offset sizes. They are all CNC machined out of brass with high-quality NBR O-rings for sealing. Unlike EK's previous Rotary Offsets for 7 and 14 mm, these fittings consist of two pieces and feature a rotating element in the middle as well. This enables them to not only offset the port but also change the angle. There are tactile clicks at every 45-degree turn to easily position the fitting the way your build requires, but the offset can also be stopped and used at any angle.
he EK-Quantum Torque Double Rotary Offsets come in two different offset versions:
  • 21 mm
  • 28 mm
They can be tightened down from the top using a hex key for added convenience or in case the regular knurling is not accessible.

The fittings are quite useful for perfectly aligning hard tubing to a distro plate when you want to achieve parallel tube runs from the GPU or the CPU. Being specifically designed according to the EK-Matrix7 standard, they complement the varying height of Vector² GPU water blocks and allow them to route perfectly with a flat run into the distribution plate.

Typical for most adapters and offsets, they have a male G1/4" threading, while they also feature a female G1/4" port on the other end that you can use for other fittings or adapters and extenders. These fittings effectively replace the following three products - the rotaries angled 45 and 90, and a 7 MF extender.

The available finishes include:
  • Nickel
  • Black
  • Gold
  • Satin Titanium
Availability and Pricing
The EK-Quantum Torque series Rotary Offsets are made in Slovenia, Europe, and are available for order through the EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network. The table below shows the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) with VAT included.

Clever but yep, typically stooopid pricing from ek. They must be betting on the competition not being able to copy these...or are trying to get their costs back out really quick lol.

And people call me insane for spending 30 bucks on Noctua Fans... the same people that spend insane money on EK, and then buy $5 Arctic fans on their radiators.

Yeah I was going to write a post about how this wasn't really expensive in the grand scheme of the fittings world, but then looked up the price I paid for Swagelok fittings on a recent concept for switching all my fittings and tubing to stainless steel. A Swagelok SS-10M0-1-4RS (stainless steel, male, 10 mm OD x 1/4" [G1/4] straight parallel thread) fitting plus the O-Ring is roughly 21 USD which is still less than the roughly 26 USD that the basic nickel fitting is going for on that spreadsheet. The Swagelok fitting gets you quality and security all the way up to a few parts per million on a helium leakage test.

Right, the Lian-Li ones with 75% RGB and 25% fan, which has a motor that lasts 6 months.

That a very nice way to support innovation and new products on the market. In sure your AliExpress brand will have the RND to develop actually new products.

Two 90 rotary fittings (ek old style, barrow, bitspower, etc etc) head to tail also offsets by 28mm and functions exactly the same way. Maybe fewer point of failures with this new product? Otherwise it seems really expensive for what it does.

The 21mm could be more interesting since there seems no direct replacement.

Hi,
Yeah rotary fittings are always a risk of leaks if stressed now with two possible stress leaks
Plus a couple more for tubing and device block :/
4 possible failure points per fitting, sure are pretty though

For anyone wondering what NBR O rings mean, I looked it up and Google says "Nitrile O-rings". I wonder if their warranty is any good to be charging this amount of money.

It's gotta be the clicky part that cost so much. Or It's the extra special EK brass. Seriously I think it may be that these aren't pressed joints but I'm guessing obviously, cuz no way I'm buying one to find out!
