EK Water Blocks Introduces NGP Thermal Paste

EK, the leading computer cooling-solutions provider, proudly announces the launch of the EK-Loop Thermal Paste NGP (5 g), a thermal interface material meticulously engineered for enthusiasts seeking efficient thermal transfer between high-end components and their cooler of choice. The EK-Loop Thermal Paste NGP utilizes nano-grade particles, ensuring effective heat transfer between CPUs, GPUs, and other chipsets and their respective cooling mechanisms, such as water blocks and heatsinks.

The cornerstone of the EK-Loop Thermal Paste NGP is its Nano Grade Particles (NGP) technology, which ensures very low thermal impedance and excellent applicability. These nano-grade particles are engineered to form an ultra-thin layer between the heat source and the cooler, promoting effective heat dissipation. The low thermal impedance is important as it allows the paste to effectively transfer heat away from critical components like CPUs and GPUs, minimizing the risk of overheating and supporting overall system performance.
Tailored for computing applications, including gaming PCs, workstations, and servers, this advanced formulation is designed for good crumpling resistance and reliable performance over extended periods. It ensures stability for users in various environments, confirming its adaptability for a range of scenarios

Thermal Stability and Reliability
EK-Loop Thermal Paste NGP exhibits exceptional thermal stability, functioning reliably within a temperature range of -20°C to 125°C. This stability is crucial for maintaining consistent performance and preventing thermal degradation over time, which is essential for long-term system efficiency. Its excellent dielectric properties ensure the paste maintains optimal performance without producing undue pressure when utilized in various applications, enhancing its thermal conductivity and long-term reliability.

User-Friendly Application
Good spreadability and ease of application are key features of the EK-Loop Thermal Paste NGP, making it exceptionally user-friendly for both seasoned enthusiasts and beginners. The product comes in a syringe with a five-gram (5 g) capacity, ample for multiple uses. To enhance the application process, each package includes a high-quality black spatula designed for an even and smooth application, ensuring that the right amount of paste is applied every time.

Further details and specifications of the EK-Loop Thermal Paste NGP are outlined in the table below:
Availability and Pricing
Designed in Slovenia, Europe, the EK-Loop Thermal Paste NGP (5 g) is now available for purchase through the EK Webshop. For pricing information, please refer to the table below, which displays the manufacturer-suggested retail price (MSRP), VAT included.

I hope this is better than Corsairs XTM50 TIM. I bought a 4g tube of XTM50 when I didn't know much about TIM's I just know that it was going to last a while.

I dont see much value in dipping in the thermal paste business when you have Arctic and Thermal Grizzly as the most liked and various others.

Money makes the world go round. My grandma told me: "Every morning at least an idiot wakes up. You only need to dind him/them to make money".

Hi,
Sorry but that syringe looks like it could hold 15g hehe

Wider barrel and plunger = higher extrusion force.
They might want people to avoid squirting it all out.

The value is in packaging the cheap paste worth €1, slapping EK logo on it, and selling it for €9.90.

This will no doubt be overpriced like most products "re-branded" by Ek.

If you are not going to mess around with the PC much, better use Thermal Grizzly Carbonaut.

It's the other way around lad , if you had to mess around with the PC much ( technician or reviewer ) it would make sense to use Carbonaut . If you aint messing around much then it makes much more sense to go with some higher performing paste instead of the graphene pad considering you would only repaste once or twice a year .

How long does it take for a good thermal paste to degrade? The pad does not dry out. If you're going to build a PC that you won't touch for 10 years or more, you might want to avoid having to change the thermal paste. If you play or use the CPU intensively, the thermal paste will last between 6 and 24 months.

If you don't mind having between 1 and 5 degrees more on your CPU, it is worth it.

I get your point of view but 10yrs is pretty unrealistic scenario , don't get me wrong surely there are people who don't touch their PC for that long but then again surely you would not expect those people to care about their paste degrading. Most people who would care about paste dryout will most likely fiddle with their PC in the next 2-5yrs either to clean it, install new parts of troubleshoot and most decent pastes can make it this far without major degradation.

I buy it to you. 4 and a half years ago I built a PC for my grandson to play with. I put a 120mm AIO in it even though the CPU was Ryzen 2600. 7 months ago I told him to blow out all the dust that he had accumulated in the radiator (I hope he did). He plays Fornite, CSGO, things like that. I suppose the PC will last another 4 years, if the paste I put on it (Artic Silver 5) doesn't dry out. I should have put Carbonaut. I do not take your comments the wrong way, I do not consider you a Troll and this forum is to speak freely and express each person's opinions based on their experiences. I leave this link so you can see my old PC where I did use thermal paste youtu.be/AX6uq6OGYU8 Greetings and Republic.
