NVIDIA GeForce 546.01 WHQL Released with Modern Warfare III Optimization

NVIDIA today released the GeForce 546.01 WHQL drivers. These come game-ready for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III," which includes support for DLSS 3 Frame Generation. Optimization and/or DLSS 3 support is also added for Desynced, Jusant, and Robo Cop: Rogue City. Among the bugs fixed with this release include abnormally high game loading times seen with "Halo Infinite" when using the older 545.84 drivers; a bug that causes Windows Event Viewer to incorrectly log an error when NVTOPPS stops; LG C3 OLED TV not showing up as a validated G-SYNC compatible display; and a performance reduction seen with Stable Diffusion, for when NVIDIA posted a workaround.

This is interesting, I hope it will be the same for G3 because I've never seen mine "compatible".

Its interesting they make no mention of the Display Port EDID bug that plagued Display Stream Black cube corruption.. which they introduced in the 53X drivers..

LG C3 is indeed interesting fix. I wonder if VRR wasn't working previously or it was just a display (on screen discriptiopn) bug.

It's funny they mention issues with the c3. I have the c2 and have been having a lot of detection issues since I moved to an nvidia card.. Hoping maybe a diver update might allivate the issues I'm having too.

nomdeplume454.92 still contains the NVIDIA-NVTOPPS-NVLOGS error that shows up 10+/hour in W11. Supposedly an Nvidia employee said somewhere on the web to just ignore it when the previous driver version introduced it.
Can confirm this is no longer in issues list. Suffice to say it was noticeable enough I went looking because improvements present in previous driver version to one above allowed doing so.

546.01 appears to have brought no decline in desirable behaviors.

Mixed bag, solves the high VRAM use crashes on compute heavy tasks, but has some regressions in SPIR-V compilation leading to crashes.

this is supposedly resolved a few versions back. Which is good because when I manually rolled back to the 52x drivers (which didnt have the black cubes issue..) bloody windows update decided to auto update straight back to the affected version 536
At least that shouldnt happen with a newer version.. if I get the issue on 54x, ill have to manually revert to 52x again and disable m$ Shitware from auto breaking it >_<
