Cooler Master unveils their Hydra 8800 graphics card cooler which is a hybrid air and water cooler. The new cooler is specifically designed for NVIDIA's GeForce 8800 series and features a copper base with three heatpipes along with a silent, 19 dBA, fan spinning at only 1800 RPM. The watercooling nozzles have 360° rotational abilities and perfectly fits 1/2" and 3/8" tubing sizes. Pricing and availability are still unknown.

Not all of coolermasters water cooling products suck, or they air coolers for that matter. I think it will be a terrific buy with great thermals.

i got their viva pro for my 8600GT, and while its a weird/flimsy install method, temps and noise are kickass.

Errr... I think I'm missing the point here. if you can liquid cool it, then why the fan?

IONO, maybe to bring out options. If you want air cooling then you can do that or if you want water cooling you can do that.
