IMO it depends a bit whether those so called errors are on the same level as Obama's 'errors'. If so, it's quite irrelevant. But Palin didnt get a lot in the news anyway. Only that the points where she could recruit voters on dont seem to be ground breaking for the target people. Last VC debate the media showed that she did a lot better than previous times and both made errors.

I think that because of the reasons McCain called Palin to be 'perfect' weren't true on all (major) fronts, people try to show that she's not that McCain said she is.

It's like a bit with the Titanic so to say, they called it unbreakable yet it wasnt at all.

But, I dont really have a lot of attention to the VC's really. I barely know Biden, I barely know Palin. Maybe it's McCain's fault Palin is hunted so much regarding the 'unbreakable' statement

I've never understood why people call CNN the "Communist News Network" or the "Clinton News Network."

I remember, many years ago (about 2003 or so), watching the Bill O'Reilly show for some reason (I actually watched his show back in the day before it turned out he was an adulterer), and he had a guest -- I believe it was the Reverend Al Sharpton.

Their conversation proceeded, and at some point Al Sharpton brought up the accusation that Fox News was a tool of the Bush Administration, had a clear right-wing bias, etc.

Bill O'Reilly proceeded to show him how CNN had members of the Bush Administration on its channel (giving interviews, that kinda thing) far more often -- I think the ration was about 3 to 1. In this respect, it was clear that CNN pandered to the Bush Administration far more than even Fox News did.

I wish I could find a transcript of the conversation, but my point is that I don't know why right-wing-leaning people call CNN "liberal," when it's clear they're anything but. CNN is beloved by old people, and old people are notoriously conservative.

Come on -- who doesn't remember their grandparents watching nothing but CNN?

No, by our constitution, unless it violates a US constitutional matter, local governments can do what they want. For example, in Georgia, where I live you can sit in a bar watching football getting drunk all day on sunday, but you cannot go to the grocery store and purchase a 12 pack...

abortion: only in cases of rape or where the mother is in danger of loosing her life (also the mom shouldn't have to pay for the rape case...)
immigration:don't care if they are here as long as they are here legally, there is enough room for everyone
gay rights: yes they should have them, let hem marry and enjoy all the freedom that EVERY other American can enjoy (don't bring religion into it, it doesn't have much merrit in a political debate)
reg of economy: bail out BAD IDEA, going to get worse before it gets better, no point in prolonging suffering
drug laws- decriminalize MJ, or make it legal, it can be taxed and controlled like tobacco, and has many health benefits, free up BILLIONS in the prison system from minor drug offenders, but keep the real drugs very illegal ie crack, heroin, ect...
gun control: let the people have them, but seriously maybe a little more on the control part, who the hell really needs an SMG or a fully auto rifle? a shotgun or pistol is sufficient for home security

also maybe we should do something about simplifying the tax code...
also what do you guys thing about that nice little missile defense sites we have popping up next to russia and various other places over the world, do we really have a right to put them there? or do you think the "ends justify the means" type of thought?
