What are some of those older games that you just get the urge to play from time to time? And by older, I mean at least 5 years old.

For me, the top five have to be:

1.) Star Trek the Next Generation - A Final Unity(Saddly, it is currently unplayable on any of my systems due to the 64-bit OSes.)
2.) Evil Genius
3.) RailRoad Tycoon Deluxe(Totally free now!!!)
4.) Command and Conquer Red Alert 2(Deezire Mod makes it awesome fun.)
5.) Star Trek Armada 2

1.) Dues Ex
2.) Sim City
3.) Soldier of Fortune
4.) Rainbow Six Rogue Spear/Urban Operations
5.) Gran Turismo (The first one)

1. Duke Nukem 3d
2. Jedi Knight 1
3. Roller Coaster Tycoon 2
4. Starcraft
5. Diablo 2.

I have a Windows 98 Laptop that is specifically for Jedi Knight and all my old DOS games.

Diablo II is really the only old game that I have gone back to play more than a few minutes. I like my eye candy, so playing older games kinda bugs me sometimes :p

Edit: OH, and Warcraft III custom games. Custom Hero Line Wars & Pokemaul = win.

Hybris (Amiga)
Silencer no Remorse
Descent 2.. seriously, ever tried playing it.. drunk?
Iron Blood (old DOS game, still cool)
Screamer (car game, lousy graphics, great game, great soundtrack)

Space/Police/Kings Quest Series on occasion (with some Leisure Suit Larry in the mix as well)
DOOM
Diablo II
Final Fantasy at least once a year
Super Mario Bros.
Star Trek: Birth of the Federation
Master of Orion II

There's honestly too many to list.

Diablo 1
Diablo 2
Final Fantasy 3
Final Fantasy 7
Phantasy Star 4

*edit*

Secret of Evermore!!!

I LOVE Evil Genius... wish they would make a new 1

Timesplitters series and UT2004 :D

Superbikes 2000 and 2001 by Milestone :respect:

Original Ghost Recon

I'd add Armoured Fist (1) (Novalogic) but it is a 3D late DOS game IIRC. Gotta try again some day, first game on CD and it will never be the same again :)

More Info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardwar_(video_game)

This game can be legally downloaded from Home of the Underdogs or Captain Zedo's Hardwar site because the company is defunct and no one owns the rights to the game who is still in business. The dev team members even wrote and released patches for the game long after the company went under. Almost no one has heard of this game but it has a very strong cult following. Good graphics and plays well on anything. Get it HERE --> http://zedo.hardwar.org.uk/

ZORK 1, 2, 3 1990 - 93

Heck I love and play all of the Infocom text adventure games and they can all be found free on net due to defunct company. More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zork Get Them HERE: http://www.csd.uwo.ca/Infocom/ Even has a Mac version!

You asked for Old Games, and these are among the oldest and The Best.

I only play old games if they have good graphics and or enhancement mods.. of course it helps that many of these are true classics every self respecting gamer should play.

Look for my thread "50 Great Games you can play on your cheap Laptop" Coming Soon - Will include all these and games up to 2010 !!
