Sorry for others hostility, unfortunately there were only afew ,like 3 cards in this forum that would unlock and everyone else here has given up trying to help. It was more like a fluke than the mass unlockabnle cards in the X1800, x800GTOs and 9800 cards era. You have a great card same as mine and it will do Vista real great. I have two Vista machines and my other uses a modded C3D X800 gto with 16p. That chews through vista no problem so your card will be more than enough for even serious gaming as long as your not using some massive 24 inch LCD. Good luck with your build.
 
My Name Is Jeff And I Was Wondring If Somone Coould Unlock My Beios For Me I See That The Subject Is Unlock Bios Found So Please Somone Do It For Me What Is A Beios Anyways? How Can I Upload My Bios And My Rom? Does The Rom Need To Be Changed? How Many Pipeslins Are In My Card And Why Can't I Just Buy More? Why Does These Companys Make It Stupid Hard To Get What U Payd For? How Do I Do This? Someone Please Post Instructions Step By Step? I Just Bought This Video Card For My Hewlett Packard. Is The 160 Pipes Compatible With Nero? I Burn Alot Of Cds. Can Someone Send Me The Program I Need To Run 160 Pipes Like The X1900xc?
 
Dude no offence, but if you talk like that you better leave your card as it is.
Or spend a least 10 hours reading to get familiar with videocard basics, overclocking and maybe flashing your card's bios. ;)

Chances are the cards already bottlenecked my your cpu/computer.. and you got alot for what you paid:nutkick:

The x1900gt unlock was a lucky fluke for 3 members on this forum, everyone else's seems hardlocked. If your card is revision 1 then there is a slight chance but you need to read through the beginning of the thread to see if yours meets the qualification. If your card is rev 2, it usually has a long red cooler and pci/e power slot in the middle, its a no go as these cards are more like the x1950 pros with cores designed to certain specs rather than defective cores modified to work at midlevel ranges. The only thing a bios mod can do is change voltages and clocks and I can attest that rev 2 x1900gt do not clock well, but are still excellent cards. Sorry if yours cannot unlock.

I DID IT! I UNLOCKED MY CARD!


i messd with lots of setings when my computer started i pressed f2. i started computer up and i think tales of pirates runs better so i did it somehow but now my screen turns blue with a lot of typing on it because of all the extra power. all i have to do is unplug power from the back and it works fine again.

I am not sure you know what your talking about. Unlocking pipes on a gpu is not as simple as "messing with lots of setings when my computer started i pressed f2". Your blue screen is a sign of hardware issues: its not an unlocking notification.I would be carefull and read some overclocking guides or even some basic PC info guides.

I think is an V2 Model ...

The heatsink is an long red heatsink wich cover all the videocard

My opinion is that you can't unlock.
 
Dident ya read the posts above and on some previous pages.

Its practically 100% impossible to find an unlockable 1900gt... all you can do is overclock.
 
But how you can know really if i can't unlock it ? .... I read alot of this thread but... im confused... lol somes sites say the inverse than here and omg ! lol is dificult to follow how it's works.... Chewy What yours stock clocks ? of your videocard...
 
ok the rev.2 does not overclock as high as the rev.1, also I am fairly sure only a very few of the rev.1 cards could unlock and rev.2 had every cards extra pipes lazer cut (like most of rev.1).

my cards stock timmings are 575/600, I overvolted it atm to 1.325vgpu for my overclock. I want to overclock it to 660/780 soon had it up to 690/818 for running aquamark tests with 1.4v gpu.
 
I have read up further on X1900gt cards Rev. 2 and unlocking is not possible, its hardlocked and a complete different PCB than the earlier rev.1 cards. You can find a but load of Rev 1 cards on ebay, but most people there are selling them at x1950pro cards and your really better off with that card (X1950pro) anyway as they can do internal hardware crossfire.
 
also the rev.1 cards that had a chance to unlock were from the first release... VERY RARE.
 
Lol I can do an really good overclock ! lol

Stock : 513 / 650

Overclocked : 560/750 Mhz (stable with no artifacs)(with stock cooler)

I will buy an new cooler Zalman Vf- 900 so i think i can overclock it more

And me too i have the choise of Internal Hardware Crossfire
 
does the cooler blow air out the back of your case? if so it has a decent cooler anyway, if not def get the zalman.

does your CCC go up to 750mhz on the ram? I know/think the rev.2 has better memory chips than rev.1.. shit at stock volts my ccc would just do 601/620.
 
so... it's unlockable or not ?
shold I import the X1900GT or X1950GT ? form Shappire? wich is bether?
 
I can overclock more my memory but i dont want crap it ! I wait for my new gpu cooler ... after that i will think to overclock more my memory :rockout: The X1950 Gt are not better than the X1900 gt because the gpu are an R570 for X1950 an for the X1900 gt is an R580 ...
