Control is an underrated gem. If you haven't tried already, have a go with Alan Wake, made by the same studio (it also has a complete DLC in Control built around it, by the way).Airplane games are a special genre, they're certainly not for everyone, not for me at least. Like racing games.
In other news I've been having fun with Control lately, you can play Toph Simulator and toss countless rocks at enemies.

Yep. It was in the Humble Monthly a year ago or so. I've found so many good games through that service.oh shit, its already in my library... must have got it from some kind of humble bundle or something and not noticed. lmao
fantastic. thanks adding it to my favorites section so i dont forget about it
to you i recommend Combat Wings Battle of Britain, its like a 1-2 hour long campaign, but a lot of fun for those 1-2 hours... I think it took me 3 hours in total to beat it, but I had fun, and it was like $3-5 on sale, i forget. can't complain, cheaper than going to the movies.
Had a ton of fun in Control. Great story and the Ray Tracing looks spectacular if it's run on a beefy card.Control is an underrated gem. If you haven't tried already, have a go with Alan Wake, made by the same studio (it also has a complete DLC in Control built around it, by the way).

Agreement. Who doesn't want to hear heavy breathing and literally every single alarm going off at once? Plus, you get those nice muzzle flashes. Not chill. You start with 4 ships, I lost one by crashing it into the ground, two trying to shoot down a horde of enemies and the last one by purposedly ramming it into another enemy because the cannons were empty.
Total success.

Don't like raytracing, that's why I went for the 5700XT at the time instead of a 2070. Wake me up when devs use it for other than glorified dynamic lights that look the same as before but drop your FPS by 30%.

Strangely, one of the related games to Broforce was thisI know you've downloaded some games now but just giving a special shout-out to Broforce that is weirdly chill . Yes, a lot of enemies but so much fun. You can just blow the shit out of everything with various characters like Rambro, Brobocop, Indiana Brones etc...
Each have their own character specific weapons/abilities and special attacks. It's a lot of fun in small doses.

I still have the CSI: Hard Evidence physical game, received as a gift from an aunt because my dad told her I liked games. Ahh, no gift can be better than a videogame about crime, blood and drugs for your little 10 year old niece. You should be able to find a walkthrough for most games if you get stuck. Youtube is too time consuming. Some puzzles in games aren't intuitive at all. They are just frustrating. I recall a Sherlock Holmes game that I played. I think it was The Silver Earring and some of the puzzles were like that. I had to consult a walkthrough several times just to get through the game.
I added WW2 machine guns, explosives, star wars lightsabers and maid outfits to it for my latest run. Imagine being a bandit and getting rekt by a maid using a lightsaber.Skyrim? Has a storyline, is relatively "easy" and relaxing depending on your playstyle, tons of content, tons of mods.

I have one rule when playing games and that's NEVER looking up tutorials, cheats or tips & tricks to beat a level, a boss or simply advance in a puzzle, IMO it makes the game less interesting and it's certainly not the way I should play.

What is a VN?Morning everyone.
Can you recommend me some single player games to relax? not the Sims or simulators please. I have Train Simulator World installed and while it's cool it feels like a chore sometimes, and the missions are overly LONG, like there's a route in the UK that takes you 4 actual hours to complete, while I like it and the trains, playing for 4 hours straight without saving is just a no-go for me.
I like adventure and fantasy games but it'd be nice to avoid fighting hordes of enemies and grinding hours for a single item (looking at you Minecraft) while exploring, also space/sci-fi games, I've played No Man's Sky for a while and didn't like it, couldn't find the point of the game like there's no campaign or anything you have to guess your way through it and the learning curve is too steep.
How come there aren't more police or detective kind of games out there? L.A. Noire style, I loved it because of how unique the gameplay was. Same with Mirror's Edge.
I'm playing Control right now and it feels like a mixture of Prototype and the og Far Cry, it's fine, just not chill.
I don't like: 2D platformers, micromanaging units everywhere, anime games or VNs.
- Death stranding (because nothing is more chill than delivering packages across a wide lush landscape to rebuild America on foot while avoiding BT''s and bandits)Graphics and age of the game are mostly irrelevant, it's fine as long as it can run on a modern computer without too much extra downloads (emus, patches, etc.)
What is a VN?
- Death stranding (because nothing is more chill than delivering packages across a wide lush landscape to rebuild America on foot while avoiding BT''s and bandits)
- Beyond Two Souls (I remember it being somewhat relaxing and compelling storyline)
- Battletech (who can argue with turn based strategy battle mech action against a backdrop of interactive storyline with a fair amount of reading to spur the imagination. Some might argue it's sci-fi but it's also war adventure/fantasy.
