GIGABYTE: ASUS Lied and Fooled Customers

I dont know if anything gigabyte says is true, but I totally prefer mobo´s from GB over Asus. Sure Asus make great "looking" boards with great cooling, but I have found Asus boards often to be very unstable with bios's that are more tweaked for OC than stability. Id like to have both, my GA-P35-DS4 is one of the best boards I ever had. I can hardly touch a Asus board without it getting damaged, my DS4 has gone through hard treatments and it still works perfectly without any issues???

My Asus Maximus Formula is great, but comes nowhere near the stability of my GB board.

Were they Nvidia chipset boards? i've only had the best of luck with asus intel boards, but the Nv ones have mostly been crap.

Well asus maximus is a x38 board, and I have had a p5b deluxe wifi, that one was actually very good, but that one was actually one of few good ones from asus I have had.

this sux im buying a Mac

Gigabyte is just trying to get more customers... Like their power saving thing is any good anyway.

Any power saving is better than no power saving! It will prolong the time before we all die from global warming.

i really dont care about power saving i would rather have a 500hp v8 than a 100hp 4 cylinder!

Here is the response from Asus:

They say that Gigabyte is lying. Asus says Gigabyte claimed that the VGA card with the blown capacitors is NOT an Asus VGA card. Since they are taking it to court, I believe they must know what they are doing.

"Also, in a press briefing presentation, Gigabyte used a photograph with blown-up (exploded) capacitors and led the audience to believe it was an ASUS product, to support its false allegations that ASUS uses questionable quality components. However, the image was found to be taken from a photograph of a VGA card manufactured by another vendor. The action of misrepresenting a third party product to be an ASUS product is truly defamatory and clearly outside the realm of decent competition."

I guess we will find out soon who is lying.
