To many damn video games and not enough time to play them

Seriously, theres to many video games coming out right now. Games I'm trying to beat ATM include:Mass Effect 2, Bio Shock(first one), Stalker CS, Saints Row 2, GTA IV, Dragons Age origins. Thats just PC, On my 360 I still have to beat Prototype, Borderlands, Darksiders, Red Faction guerrilla, Sacred 2.

I'm so far behind now I'm not even going to bother to buy Bio shock 2. Then theres Global Agenda which looks really cool and I want to play it, and ALSO Metro 2033 which looks totally awesome and then theres Stalker COP......

AHHH WTF DO I DO.

A picture list of all my steam games. It does not include games that I have on CDs and DVDs or any of my Xbox 360 games. Which comes out to about 40-50 boxed PC games and about 13 xbox 360 games.

EDIT: Just counted all my steam games manually I have 101 steam games......

I havnt finished a game in sp for a while now ive got Bioshock 2 yesterday id am going to complete it. Im only holidays now so i got no excuses and mate id complete Bioshock then get number 2 its been quite awesome so if a tad easy. And either you find lots of time or dump a few games unless you fancy trying to beat a few games on yourlist now when your 70 lol.

i have WoW to thank for the massive backlog of games i haven't finished. i get time in for cod every now and then but dragonage which i had a shitload of fun playing... yeah didn't finish yet.. and games i bought two years ago... never finished those either.. friggon WoW lol

Get away from your computer more. Go for a walk, socialise more - read a book. Then when you next get really bored, have a look at your games list and see what takes your fancy.

Ya, I need to finish HAWX, Far Cry 2 and Bioshock 2 comes tomorrow. The one major thing that slows me down is online gaming. I want to finish these games but I still want to go online gaming sometimes (Borderlands, L4D and COD4).

If the OP doesnt mind I want to add questions about this same topic.

Do you feel you need to finish a game?
How many hours do you need to play a game to feel satisfied?

Good idea and delete a few games as you have to be realistic. You will most likely not be able to complete all the games no matter how dedicated you are.

Prototype will take 17 hours at most. I beat Darksiders in 3 days (on and off). Bioshock isn't too long either. Mass Effect will take you a while. Start beating the shorter games first then do the long ones. Unless you feel like something in particular.

Thats why there's only a couple of games on my comp. e.g there's only mass effect 2, cod4 and dirt2 on my rig now, that helps, cause I've finished mass effect 2 in 3 days, 59% of dirt 2 in 2 months (ok this one got neglected!) It really helps cause you don't need to buy all the games @ once, just wait some time till prices cut back whilst playing old games. It ain't wort buying a new one if you ain't planning to beat it!

You must buy the games exactly at day one and play it until the end. I normally finish games in 4 -5 day and i play maximum 3 hours per night never take the new game without finishing the first

The trouble is, most of us get a new game and dive straight into the multiplayer mode. I always complete the singleplayer then start MP

But I do agree, so many games, so little time Im currently playing through Bioshock 2, Darksiders, Dantes Inferno, Mass Effect 1 (before I start 2) and I also dabble in a bit of Modern Warfare 2 MP............its crazy!

Yeah you re right man. Lifes just too short to just keep playing games. There are better things to do than gun mechs, dating robots or whatever! But it's still fun from time to time. As long as it doesn't take over your real life.

I only install what I have time to play. Thats why I've been able to survive with a 74GB hard drive for so long. I delete whatever game I finish and play that til its done. I only play one game at a time, if you have too many installed you won't finish anything!

haha your telling me! even worse for me now that a I have a job, i barely have time to play 2 rounds at TF2. Other than that i dont really try to get a SP game for now since im going to be playing by tiny parts which will make the game last a month, and probably loose interest by then.

Well I work out twice a week at the gym and go out with friends on weekends... But I still have this problem.

Yeah thanks to Steam sales and being addicted to awesome BF2 mod FH2 I too have a ton of games to play through and thus also not even bothering to buy anymore right now such as Bioshock 2 and ME2.

Though I will probably pick AVP up. The horrid demo is no way to judge the game...
