As we live the age of game remakes, which game you would like to see to have a remake?

I would say Empire Earth on PC re-mastered would be great, because it does something no other RTS game does, it goes from caveman days to futuristic. it does need an update though, it did not age well.

I've played hundreds of hours on Empire Earth over the years. Really fun Strategy Game imo.

Empire Earth 2.......not so much

Empire Earth 3.......well, let's just pretend that never happened.

i only ever played the original, I still have my disc. it was great back in the CRT monitor days... however, it didn't age as well as other RTS games, the scaling of resolutions/animations, etc. warcraft 3 for example, aged extremely well, even playing the original at 1440p it looks like a 1440p game, and the animations are top tier.

that being said, I do remember loving EE back in the day. good times indeed

Xenogears would be a good one to remake but already know that ain't happening.

I could add NFS 4 High Stakes as well.
+1 on this. Also, Hot Pursuit. I know they've re-released the title like 2 more times, but they're different games. I want the original.

Also, Carmageddon 2, Midtown Madness 2, and most importantly: Freelancer! :)

remember you can always emulate, if nostalgia gets the best of you

Would asking for a Guardian Heroes remake be too much?

F117A Stealth fighter

Quake II

First game I beat was either Tetris or Motorcross maniacs, Tetris had a amazing ending,MM not so much to say the least.

And I too managed to play a lot of very grey area PS2 games though that ended that era tbf to me I was young.
I miss Motocross Madness 2. Sucks MS killed off Rainbow Studios.

I have this stealth fighter game that is actually shaped like a mini F117A stealth fighter replica, and you put it up to your face and move your head around to target enemies as you fly it. was a big part of my childhood, super fun. i still have it in storage somewhere. hopefully I can get it working again someday

I have it, just that it would be nice to see it remade with better graphics than the PSX has.

emulators let you scale the graphics up. like i go emulate say jak and daxter on ps2, i can use lot of enhancers on emulator to make it look pretty dang good for a modern system

Need for Speed 2005 Most Wanted

Roadrash

it's not exact, but if you haven't heard of it by some chance

Not even remakes, I just want the No One Lives Forever games get out of the licensing hell.

Pretty much any NFS no later than Carbon. I know car licensing will get in the way.
Just replayed UG1 and UG2 a few months ago and still think it is a great game, if a bit repetitive.
MW2005 is slightly too hard, and Carbon is slightly too short of a game, and those are probably something a remaster can fix.

And then there is Gran Turismo. 7 isn't outright bad, but I really want more single player content. please.

And then there is the Shutokou Battle series / Racing Battle C1GP. Sadly, the developer is pretty much under life support, so...

And then there is Midtown Madness series, Midnight Club series, Sega Rally 2 and Enthusia... Oh snap, I'm just throwing every good racing games in late 1990s ~ 2000s...

Well, I have already played Road Redemption, but I don't recognise it as a remake :(

Honestly, if I were EA big boss, i would build a little studio / team and do some remake of game like the Road Rash, the Strike series ... and sells them for 10-15 $.
I'm pretty sure there is money to make and if it's seriously done, make a lot of (olds) gamers happy !

Agreed. It's a shame that big studios are all obsessed with profit margins these days.

It's too bad, because there is still profit to do ...

More and more profit, nonetheless. I think there's a growing number of gamers (myself included) who are sick of serious AAA games, and desperately want something cheap, simple and fun instead.

Whether big studios will ever realize this or not is a different story.
