Can I upgrade my 3D club ATI 9600? I have also another PROBLEM!!! When I play CoD 4 my video card stop responding and screen goes black!!!After that I have to restart my computer! I don't now what to do? Please help?

Go to your User CP and fill the User Specs out. BTW thats some old hardware I wouldnt reccomend upgrading your video card first. Upgrade your mobo and cpu then the card.

The reason it goes black is either heat or a high OC, check the fan and make sure its not full of dust thats a pretty old card.

Probably overheating. Have you ever removed the HS and replaced the Thermal paste.
After time the thermal paste dries up and or looses its ability to transer heat.
Ramsinks and an aftermarket cooler would also help.

I now that my machine is old and overheating is propably biggest problem here!!!But since I live in Serbia upgrading my machine is major problem(financial reasons!!!). All new hardware is avaliable here but for me ... It's MISSION IMPOSIBLE!!! I must find some cheap solution!!!

I'm going to try to replace thermal paste today!Can I flash bios or something to improve perfomance of ati 9600 and where to find it?

Hi not meaning to hijack your thread but I have a 9800 128mb in my sons pc and the fan is noisy so I am going to replace the cooler with an atermarket one but which one should I get?
