i shoulda known that.
I'm glad Klite works for you, but i often have to fix machines where its borked up the codecs. many VLC users i know moved to VLC after K-lite screwed up their codecs so bad their system couldnt play many file types any more.
if people want a codec back, CCCP is where its at. Yes, it may have one or two less codecs than K-lite (namely: realplayer and quicktime) - but at least it doesnt fuck shit up (like i dunno, fallout 3 and oblivion).
That was my problem with BethSoft games before and I made the exceptions for those games and they ran better after that.
For windows 7 I may switch to CCCP and just have RP becuase I have been using it for downloading youtube and other site's vids really easily.
Thanks for letting others know about the k-lite thing. I was going to post it somewhere but i never had the occasion for it
