Catalyst 8.10 RC2

I wonder how these effect 3870's... I want that fan control option.
 
I will load it up this weekend when I install my Blood Iron and e8200 :). I plan to go full Vista 64 from here on out. AMD/Windows XP RIP :)

Manual fan control locks in a percentage but does not let you set speed vs temps?
Pfft. Almost worthless if that's the case.
 
Yeah, it would be nice if they included some temp. ramp tables, but at least it's a start!:D

Yes it is, but I am still amazed at why this has never been implemented.
I sent off messages to their dev teams back when I owned my X850XT PE for fan control.
Not everyone wants to have their GPU running at 95C.

For crying out loud, my new card runs at 85C in 2D !! :wtf:
I think that may be a 8.9 driver issue with 2D clocks, but still.

RivaTuner took care of that little problem ;)
 
Hmmm I'll have to check these out. Anyone Folding on GPU2 and see any issues with the 8.10?

I might try these out. Thank god for fan control; about time:banghead:. Anyone know if you can control fans for each card in crossfire?

When I put them on I got stuck with just the basic view, and could not get to the advanced...going to retry...

Posted what? Those 8.10(8.54) that you are linking to were an internal build I leaked months ago. These are newer different drivers.
 
What card d'you have Risco? If you go to your User Control Panel and on the left hand pane, click Edit System Specs then fill in the details.

Only time I run CCC is when I am running an OC anyways, so manual control is fine by me.

That said, it would be nice to have speed to temp.
 
Any FPS increase in CoD4 and UT3 engine games?
 
Unfortunately I can't download the XP drivers, my tinternet is so crap it's going to take me all night.
