Im about to get World at War from my friends house.
I louuuuuve nazi zombies on it!!!!!!
Just before i install it, I would like to know, if it would start and run?
Is it gonna be laggy on XP Pro SP3 with 1GB DDR RAM / P4 2,53GHz / Radeon 9250 128MB @
640x480 --- low detail --- low EVERYTHING ?

I know.... I know..... its old!
But I play CoD2 on it @ 1024x768 with 25fps!!!!

It WILL be laggy on a 9250. That was a low-end card when it was new, it's fracking awful now.

all ican say is good luck seriously isnt WaW a shader model 3.0 game and the 9000 series only shader 2.0 ??? so i doubt it will run probably wont work at all but if it does hey ill be pleasently surprised

Isnt worth it, the P4 would bottleneck it bad. a 6600GT or 6800GT would be ok i played COD4 on a 6600GT medium settings real good on a P4 with HT

Will become a slide show on that laptop on my preferred settings, well it will lock up, Not just "might", it WILL lock up.

I know you could do almost as much as battle fields from 1941-2 all the way up to the battle field 2013 or something in the lines of that.

HyperThreading. Towards the end of the P4's they put out some with HT, most over 3GHz. They were pretty good, I used a 3.2GHz for about 4 years.

i prefere ATI, because my mobo has probs with 8x AGP Nvidia chipps.
I was thinking about a low profile HD-Series Card that is compatible with AGP 4x .

My P4 can do all these tasks with no probs and thats more than enough for me!
Im about to max my system out by doing following:
-Upgrading from my P4 2.53GHz 512kb to a P4 2.80GHz 1mb ($15)
-replacing my radeon 9250 128mb with an ATI HD-XXXX ($40)
-extending my ram to 2x1GBDDR Dual channel ($30)
-exchanging my 5400rpm 80gig for a 500gb 7200rpm ($50)
-tuning my ac97 up to a sound blaster live! ($10)
TOTAL: $145

I don't mean to frustrate you but people put computers like that on the curb. You should build something respectable. Go for something dual core for cheap. You're worth it.

Wow. Everyone is right. Get yourself a new rig IF you actually want to play new(er) games at reasonable framerate. even if youll get you p4 up till 3.2 ghz it will be too slow for 99.9% of the games these days.

May i suggest a few hardware that are not too expensive but delivers good performance.

Cpu:A good core 2 duo or a normal i3,
Gpu: 9600gt/HD4670 are cheap and deliver good performace for their price.
RAM: just any ddr2 kit will do. 3gb recommended.
Hdd: 5400 rpm hdd is handy.

Im no expert on Mobo's so you'll have to ask that to somebody else

But if you really don't WANT to leave ur poor 'ol pc behind. It's your choice but dont be surprised about the fact that you just CAN'T run ANY new and older GAMES on this days market.

My laptop is at least thrice as fast as your desktop. And it can only run fallot 3 smoothly at a resolution of 1024 on low/med

And it has pentuim dual core 2.3 ghz|4gb ddr3 ram|win 7 64bit|nvidia g205m 512 mb(crappy card with dx10 which it can barely handle)
