I don't really care for dark mode so I don't use it

It's a simple question of personal preference and not every site needs to have the option, as there are either hidden options or plugins for most browsers. There are now 8 billion people on this planet and - based on my experience - there are almost as much different views on things.

You removed the rest of my comment on my other option if wiz doesn't have the time to design a dark theme where he might inquire on how to get a premade one to test/ consider to save time and make others happy at the same time

I did read your whole comment but I did not remove the rest , I did quote the part of your comment that was important to support what I wanted to express. No offense intended and not directed at you specifically. If the removed part would have been needed for context reasons I would have quoted it, too. Btw... I did it again.

right, and even though single click options like themes from stylish are available, OFTEN YOU'RE STUCK FINDING "THE BEST OF THE WORST" , BECAUSE ERRORS ON ANCIENT LIVE SERVER CODE CAN GET CLUNKY, SPECIFICALLY YOU'RE LEFT FINDING SA DESIGN YOU CAN TOLERATE

and the other half of this problem: every corporate top-100 companies all LOSE THE BROWSER EXTENSIONS BY-default FOR SECURITY (SO DARK MODES ARE NOW YOUR ONLY OPTION)

I'm also one of those weirdos who don't use dark mode, idk I tried it but over time I found it actually uncomfortable for some reason so I switched back.
That being said I have no problems with more options so I support a dark mode option. 'I'm aware that a lot of ppl prefer it'

firefox and dark reader (there are similar options for other browsers if you're a serial killer and don't use firefox), you don't even have to care if sites have a dark mode or not.

Dark mode is less stress for the eyes, protecting them. It's a medical benefit.

You might want to get on good terms with your hardware support. A nice word here and there as well as some small good deeds will get you what you need faster than you think.

Yep best you can do universally would be get a monitor screen cover.

Light themes do not harm your retina. Unless you go overboard with brightness, I guess.

You can still turn brightness down. Or, you know, not use a computer or tablet in a dark room for prolonged periods of time?
That said, yes, dark themes are easier on the eye. But light themes are not dangerous or anything.
