because i've been sleeping, not knowing that anything was broken. otherwise i wouldnt sleep until it's fixed.

I don't want my feedback/suggestion getting buried under a line of posts. This will be the last time I do this.
@W1zzard
Feedback: I feel the latest alerts page just needs one little tweak to be far more practical. I suggest the following change.

Current:

What I would like to see:

The thanks received page might make some feel warm and fuzzy, but that spot would be much better served with the recent posts tab. This would benefit the mobile site too; the alerts page only shows the thanks received tab. If the mobile website had the recent posts tab instead that would be much easier to navigate the website.

because one time w1zzard was at the DC when it was broken into. He was tied up and sat down while TPU was in the middle of an HDD failure. He single handedly got loose broke the guards spine and proceeded to walk down the corridor mumbling "uptime"

and this is the last time he locates in a data center next to a meth lab... actually the meth lab is using the datacenter as a front.

You are confused about his saying "knocking boots" with military action, although a lower invasion may have taken place, security was there to make sure no propagating "cells" were left.

Hey the other theme is gone :(

i dunno, later i just feel some people posting something with insulting sentences

All you can do is report it, things only get worse if you reply on the same level. Easier to nip it in the bud and then that person is unlikely to do the same again. Unfortunately if nobody reports it the mods can't do much.

you right, maybe we need hall of shame to punish them

Im not entirely sure that would help, infractions have a time limit so people are actually forgiven ;) plus if I was on the hall of shame it wouldn't make me want to post more politely around the forum

yeah, but i guess we dont need it, maybe just pm-ed by mod would fix the attitude

a minute ago I got various errors as this: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1 bytes) in /home/techpowerup/www/forums/library/Zend/Db/Statement/Mysqli.php on line 294

^^This for me as well.

Same but the bytes varied a bit.

Fixed, no idea why it suddenly decided it doesn’t have enough memory.
It used to work fine the weeks before. Raised to 150 MB now, and working fine.

Yeah this happened just a lil ago

Can we lock posts older than two years, and ormake it so users have to have been a member for at least half as long as the thread has been dormant before they are allowed to post?

So user A has been a member for a week, no thread necro from 3 years, 6 years ago.

I thought they have, or at least had, a warning system here that says, "Hey, muppet... this thread is 4 years old, are you sure you want to post in it" warning?

They used to have that.
