Tomb Raider TAoD was legendary due of its glitches and other crap. Did they fix it later on?

I've just installed the free GOG version which is said to be more refined that the Steam version, but it isn't.
It's still a nightmare to control Lara unless you use conventional tank controls, but even then it's wonky.
There is a TRAOD mod called TRAOD Definitive Edition that I'll be trying later because I've given up on this game so many times due to the controls, it's a shame not to give it the credit that it should deserve.

Mines not doing too bad, got over 20hrs into it now, and about lvl 12 iirc. It's seemingly crashing less and less and I can play for multiple hours at a time with no crashes.

Mine is also doing better and I believe I am under 20hours and about lvl 12 or so.

But I do have a couple of quests bugging where I have the quest but no option in the dialog and one settlers dialog is totally bugged not sure if it's because I am just too early for the quest.

I think some are bugged. I have quests that point me to a spot on the map with nothing there of any interest. Overall it's not bad and i have enjoyed it upto now. Them killer post boxes are tough though.

Yeah I try to avoid them together with the mine killer bots they are really annoying, I had a bug where one fell into the thames and they I was able to kill otherwise it just goes off when it close to you and kill you.

I don't get why they said resources for health and rads is hard to find, because I have a good amount and money no cheats just got a high carry weight at the start and picks up armour and weapons to sell and trade.

Sell prices are a bit cack though, i just pick up everything, stash it in boxes and do multiple fast travel trips to sell it all. the skill that allows fast travel when over encumbered is useful for that.
