Do you need FO4 on GoG to play it or does it work on Steam's version?

You need Fallout 4 base game to play this :(
But you don't need it to claim the giveaway. You can add it to your library now, and buy Fallout 4 later on a massive discount. ;)

Edit: typo

Either but if you have the base game on Steam there is a bit of work to do where as it is already optimised for GoG, it is explained here .....

Fallout London (fallout4london.com)

I just grabbed the GOG version, the steam version is a pita to install FOLondon too.

Which incidently is on offer now on GOG

It should be on nexusmods!
You need "premium" accounts to get any decent download speeds on Nexus mods (at least by first world standards). And this one weighs ~34gb. Plus the site itself is unreliable.

What I'm wondering is why GoG is marking it as a giveaway with an expiry date...

Well, I don´t know either why, but I´m not going to wait to find out, downloading part by part :)

Fallout London (fallout4london.com)

I actually downloaded it last night, and used about 30mins or so to hack the first terminal I came across

But today after changing the default resolution of 1280x720 pixel to 2560x1440 pixel I had quiet a few crashes anywhere from starting Fallout London to loading saves and once doing the first people I interacted with.

I am running the Fo4 GoTY GoG version and Fallout London GoG so not sure why :( but this mod is actually hella cool been awhile since I did anything Fallout game related I believe like 2 years or so.

Wait for the first official FOL patches, right now it is pretty buggy.

I played 2 hrs last night without a bug or crash. GOG FO4 GOTY v 1.10.163, installed FOL GOG in same folder as game, then pointed it at the folder when i ran it, and it works fine(hopefully it will carry on)

Sucks. I have on Steam too.

It's on offer on GOG still, grab it while its cheap £13 i believe, it's what i did, as i also have it on steam.

It's already been repacked...

Anyways, just got around to modding FOL for UW screen.

Btw, there's a mod on nexus Buffout that addresses some of the bugs in London and adds a logger.

I have actually gotten Fallout London more stable using Buffout 4 and what's more was needed using like this video

Also got loading times way down which is really nice.

Mines not doing too bad, got over 20hrs into it now, and about lvl 12 iirc. It's seemingly crashing less and less and I can play for multiple hours at a time with no crashes.
