y'all are dealing with the killer temps, too, I see . . . horrible, ain't it? How's the humidity been up that way?

another idea that might be worth a shot, rent a cheap hotel room for a night or two and move the setup in - it'll at least be cooler than what you're dealing with currently, and doesn't cost anywhere near as much as an AC unit.

Humidity is varying between 95-100%. It's effin terrible. It was 95F on my back porch today, IN THE SHADE!!

I hear it, man, been the same way down here, and similar humidity as well. Workin in the shop has been horrible, hell, you sweat just standing still.

speakin of insane OC and kinad off topic, if current plans work out, I'm going to shoot for 4GHz or 4.1GHz on air cooling with this quad next weekend. Looking hopeful so far.

She needs to understand the importance of this test and how computers need to stay cold at all times to run better. Tell her your computer melting down would cost more to replace then just buying and running a AC unit.
