oh man... a friend of mine passed away the other day of colon cancer... was already on its late stages when they discovered it... hope you come out of it cancer free... get well soon...

You always struck me as a person of great equanimity, so I hope that you are at some form of peace while your body is ailing. It seems grossly unfair that with the amount of good you do, helping out others and giving what you can, you should be met with such unfortunate circumstances. I'll pray for you and your wife, that wisdom be granted to your caregivers while dealing with you, and for a full and speedy recovery. There's too much beer in the world to be sick.
 
Appendix, been there and done that.. But finding out you have cancer through that tiny hump of junk.. wow. Thats great (what are the odds you found out without it) and it sucks big time at the same time.

That you may find the Strength to keep on fighting!
 
Damn, that's really bad to hear man, I really hope you come out of all this okay and that you can recover soon! Reasons like this is why I crunch/fold. ...and that I'll always do! Here's to you feeling better. :toast: :toast:
 
It's pretty scary to think that within less than a month, anyone can go through so much trauma out of the blue.

Do remember much about you besides having a slow internet connection but none the less I wish for you to have a flawless recovery.

EDIT: As CP said earlier, researching cures for cancer is one of the reasons I crunch. We need to eradicate this disease (among many others); it causes to much strife and heartache for everyone involved.

I as well will pray that the cancer is gone and that you will recover soon.

Edit: Just found out on Facebook that a friend of mine (and mentor) just died of cancer. We need to find a cure. Join the TPU WCG or folding team and help find a cure people!!!
